Western Gailes Golf Club

If you are a golfer, then this is a must play course if you are in the area. The area has lots of courses but this is one of the best. We had a great lunch and great caddies, good weather with a bunch of wind. The only negative I could possibly mention is that there isn't much in the way of good merchandise in the proshop. Given the remarkable course, most Yanks would buy a good souvenir and especially a jersey if they had a better selection.

Dundonald Links

What an amazing day ! Having played the best of the Irish links courses earlier in the year we were wondering how Dundonald links would compare . Despite being a proud Irishman I have to say this Scottish course wins hands down. We started with a fantastic breakfast, the Eggs Royale is as good as it gets. This set us up for a great day of golf. The holes are challenging but fair ( if that makes sense) The staff are really helpful and friendly . We understand there are major plans for improving the facilities . The course is already a top notch course and given the plans Dundonald links is destined to be one of the most desirable courses to play and visit in the UK.

I played Beith Golf Club in November and I must admit the course was in fabulous condition. The greens for this time of year were excellent and were running true. As always the view were spectacular. Well worth a visit. #millionairesgolf

The Irvine Golf Club

Reviewed By Rmcg1990 - Ayr, United Kingdom

My partner and I visited for the first time today to try the driving range and get a bite to eat. We were seated in 5 minutes and ordered a spicy chicken toastie and highlander fries. The food was delicious and great quality! Thoroughly enjoyed it! We then got 100 balls and went to the range, no complaints! Had a great time. The bathrooms are also modern and clean, and I appreciate the luxury hand wash and moisturiser from The Scottish Fine Soaps Company, especially after going to many other places that had cheap hand soaps that dry out your hands. Overall it was a lovely day and we'll certainly be back.

Largs Golf Club

Amongst the elite of Scottish parkland courses, Largs Kelburn enjoys year round play through its strong coastal influences. Originally part of the historic Kelburn Estate there is much to see quite apart from a superb golfing experience. Come and wonder at the range of mature trees and the frequent visits from roaming wildlife.
