We had eaten upstairs in Pepper and Salt (fabulous) so I went back to buy the wine we had with lunch. Nice ambience and although it was quite busy the girl on duty was attentive and even though I knew what I wanted she persuaded me to try some other wines - and in a particular order. Really impressive. Thank you.

We were met at the door and shown to a table and given our tasting glasses and water. We had two lovely, knowledgeable ladies go through a list of their wines and we got to taste every one of them and a couple,e of special ones that weren't on the list too! They were all so good. The winery was on a hillside with beautiful gardens and a small lake, such a lovely setting. If they had served food we probably would have stayed all afternoon! We were told they suggest you take a picnic with you..next time we will???? would not hesitate to recommend this place...just lovely.

Peaceful Bay

Reviewed By flybirdy

We drove here to enjoy fresh fish for dinner. (Open till 18 hrs) . We were not disappointed. The hapuka was caught fresh the day before and was absolutely delicious. Yep it was not cheap, but the fish from our perth fishmonger is not cheap either. Anyway we found it worth the price and loved our meal. The batter was very light and nicely crispy. One can ask which fish was caught the same day or the day before just to be sure that you will be happy with your meal. The campsite did look very green and inviting. The beach is a paradise to explore for kids with rocky outcrops only a short wade away from the shore.
