We first found La Perla on trip advisor, so glad we did !! All the best reviews are true. Jeremy was excellent. Easy contact through what’s app, and we got a reply within a few hours. He picked us up with his wife from our hotel, which we had to meet him at the front gate because security sometimes gives him trouble to pass. He took us to his store and told us all about his business as well as the cigar making process. We got to test a cigar- he ever went over how to properly cut, light, store and get the most flavour out of your cigar. Not only did we meet his wife, but also and employee and his daughter. Great prices- much cheaper then the resort and MUCH better quality. Afterwards he gave us a lift back to our resort and answered all of our questions about Dominican Republic. He knows his stuff ! So don’t hesitate and go now ! Robbin and Jeff

Our friend JC helped us to donate clothing and blankets for the poor. Our donation was given to a nearby community of Friusa. One does not see the poverty when on a resort, or living on the economy in Punta Cana. The Catholic Church will provide donated goods, medication at no cost to the poor unlike government agencies or entrepreneurs. Please donate! I put up a Facebook post asking for luggage and goods, friends responded and we took them. The Church volunteers are trained to help. Use whatsapp to phone the church, drop by durning the day, or go to Sunday Mass at 10 am, or call JC, Church Usher, at 18293148328. Gospel is read in English. Download the readings before you go if you don’t understand Spanish.

Shopping mall with plenty of different options, ammenities and services to choose from. Exclusive clothing stores, boutiques, banks, cinema, restaurants, hypermarket and more to visit.

This is a very nice mall, with lots of nice shops and restaurants. We went there thinking that the hard rock restaurant was still there but still stayed and ate at outbacks. Its very clean and quite pretty. Nice place to spend an afternoon at.
