Top 10 Free Things to do in Agadir, Souss-Massa-Draa Region

April 30, 2022 Kaleigh Reichenbach

Soak up the sun on the well-maintained beaches of Agadir, southern Morocco's most-visited city. Palm-lined boulevards and beachfront bars add a decidedly Western-resort feel, amplified by the large number of Europeans who flock here in the winter months. It’s all about laid-back relaxation in Agadir, so ride a camel, rent a beach buggy, check out the Suq al-Had market or take the 20-minute walk up to the ruins of the Agadir Kasbah for expansive city views if you’re taking a break from the beach.

Taghazout Beach

Reviewed By maggie_wink2019 - Gdynia, Poland

This had to have been one of my dream stays on the Atlantic coast in Morocco. What an amazing spot! Especially in winter when the sun is still warm and the most incredible sunsets make this place absolutely magic! Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing surf holiday or just as a get-away-from-it-all spot with a huge beach to take walks along or jog in the morning. Excellent little cafes and restaurants with delicious grilled fish, sweet nus-nus coffee and the characteristic laid back atmosphere of a seaside resort. Taghazout is most certainly a place to come back to!
