My wife and I visited this winery whilst staying in the area. We visited a number of wineries, however Barrecas Winery was by far the best. We were fortunate to have Phil (the winemaker) and his wife serving at the cellar door, which was great as we were able to get great insights into the wines we tasted. The ambience and service were excellent.

All the times I have visited Margaret River and this was my first time to Woodlands Wines. I have been missing out! Firstly the staff are amazing, really friendly, knowable & helpful. The cellar door is lovely and comfortable, very relaxing and the wines are great and reasonably priced. There is a snack menu with the most amazing cheese boards that are not to be missed. All in all, one of my favourite experiences this trip and I can't wait to return.

We popped by this afternoon on impulse - despite no notice the staff were happy to help us out with a distillery tour, which was entertaining and informative, particularlywhen it came to discussing ingredients used and the challenges of distilling in Australia vs other countries. Food was lovely (the scones are absolutely delicious!), and the quality of the spirits on offer excellent - the Turkish delight liqueur in particular i can easily see needing a repeat order. The surroundings are great - this is not an operation where quality has been skimped on at all, and it's extremely picturesque. Staff were all helpful and cheerful - my father and I had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to our next trip when we can spend more than a couple of hours here!
