Not worth it
Reviewed By TashPorraGreat location - a stone throw from Lake Braies, however we found the host to be quite rude and unprofessional in general. After leaving an item of value behind, I called through to go back and collect, only to be told that it is “not my problem” and I must call back another day because she is busy. We were flying home that night. In addition, breakfast was included in our stay only to be told in the morning that she was not present so no breakfast will be served. I would recommend finding better value for money in the surrounding areas, without the headache.

A great place to stay
Reviewed By Andrea RIf you are looking for an authentic place in the mountain with great hospitality and excellent local food, look no further. We had a wonderful time at Soleseid. The rooms are spacious and bright. We had access to the terrace which offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains and San Vigilio di Marebbe. Lots of choice for breakfast and superb cuisine at dinner. Best restaurant in and around San Vigilio. We would recommend to have a car as it is a steep road from San Vigilio to almost the top of the mountain (hence the great views). It's about 5 minutes by car from the center of the village. We will be back as soon as we have the chance. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By ShimnikVintlerhof is a cool place to stay over night or spent short vacation. It is better to inform owners at what time they can expect you, because Micro and Miriam are also doing farming and can't be at the reception all the time. The apartment is adjoint to the big house, where the hosting family lives. The room we had is nicely decorated and has comfy bed. Breakfast is not included in the room price but you can order it for an additional price. As soon as we came, we have got South Tyrolean card for taking all cable cars, public transport, etc. absolutely for free! The apartment has parking and located on the hill, which is in the walkable distance from the center of Brixen. Highly recommended comfortable place with friendly owners :)

Clean, tasty meal, friendly host
Reviewed By AL273We visited Gschloier for one night. Receipt was Tirolian friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was big. Bed a bit hard. We booked half board and we did not regret. We had Local Tirolian dishes which were delicious. Only minor was the poor description of the location. It is on the road from Laion to Freins, near Freins (not Laion).

Farm in fairytale setting
Reviewed By sinaigirlMy husband and I recently stayed overnight at this farm. The room was lovely and we had a large balcony. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was one of the best that we experienced on a many day trip in the Dolomites. The Breakfast Buffett was delicious along with an omelette of speck and cheese. The farm sits on the side of a hill in a fairy tale type setting.

Authentic Maso
Reviewed By christina_stilistaA beautiful, authentic "maso" in a magical mountain village. Sesto is a jewel in the Alto Adige region and I highly recommend staying here rather then in a bigger modern hotel. The rooms, typical Tyrolese, are super clean and cozy with all the necessary amenities. We even had an excellent wifi connection, a beautiful terrace, and the breakfast is biological, farm to table, abundant and delicious. All served by our host who was extremely kind and accommodating. We hiked the the Tre Cime, and also did the three malghe above Sesto. Wonderful stay and will return to this hotel.

A real gem
Reviewed By pollyf6969It was the best welcome we received out of all the hotels and B & B's we stayed in on our tour. Haans Peter was warm friendly and couldn't do enough for us. On arrival he offered us a welcome drink which was gladly received as it was very warm. The room was very clean with a balcony looking out over stunning scenery. The breakfast was beautiful using his own home produced milk and yoghurts. When we tour again next year we will definitely look into staying here again.

The farmyard Ciasa Raut is situated in a lovely landscape on 1535 mt above sea level, surrounded by mountains, woods and accurated meadows. The position is sunny and gorgeous. In summer, spring and fall our farm is the ideal starting point for excursions in the mountains and in the wintertime for cross-country skiing, sledding and skiing on the close-by downhills of Alta Badia and Plan de Corones.
