An excellent location for our overnight stay as we visited Zip World. One of the best rooms we’ve ever stayed in, immaculately decorated. All the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Myself and bridal party stayed the night before our wedding. Check in 3 check out strict 10am - which is the only downside when your in middle of wedding make up haha The place is so easy to find - across the road from the gem that is Three Eagles deffo eat there! Parking 1 minute walk away in the hand hotel Beautiful place with such character . Every room is lovely and has its own big shower and bath in 2/3. The two doubles are especially wow!! This place has everything you need from tea/coffee & condiments to bubble bath and straighteners ! The log fire is amazing so relaxing and homely. Beds clean and cosy. Heating lovely and warm. Shame the jacuzzi bath in main suite doesn’t have jets now as that would have been lush. But brand new modern shower. I would love to come back as a group of couples or a big family. Especially in the winter nice and cosy!

Delightful olde worlde holiday

Reviewed By NerysR

My family and I spent a relaxing week in one of Wendon’s holiday flats which boasted the only balcony in the village. We felt quite regal! We found the owner (who lived on site) to be most welcoming and accommodating. We were so grateful that dogs were welcomed. The apartment was SCRUPULOUSLY clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed long walks along the beach which, at high tide, is pebbly - and large pebbles at that! But at low tide there are miles of sands to explore with million dollar views. There are two cafes, a shop and an excellent chip shop a stone’s throw from the flat. This is a place where you can re- live your childhood holiday memories. So unspoilt. Thank God for that. A return visit is on the cards. Thank you so much Sarah.

Stunning Hotel Worthy of Four Stars

Reviewed By Eileen i

So glad we found this hotel. Its right on the beach with the most amazing views of the beach. You will not regret your stay here. The rooms are lovely, dining area immaculate and the terrace is directly upon the beach so you can taste the fresh sea air while you enjoy a delicious drink from the bar. Staff are very courteous and the rooms lovely and clean. The spa area is beautiful. We spent several hours chilling before a beautiful stroll along the beach. *The pictures I took speak for themselves*. Checked out today and immediately booked another three nights for June! Cannot believe this Hotel is listed as Three Stars. Well deserving of FOUR STARS in my opinion.

Heulfre Self Catering Holiday Flats

Heulfre – from the Welsh meaning ‘Sunnyside’ – self-catering Holiday Flats are situated on Marine Terrace at the sea front, one hundred metres away from Criccieth Castle. The holiday flats are south facing with panoramic views across Cardigan Bay to Harlech where you can see dolphins, porpoises, seals and occasionally whales. The scenic and easily accessible mountains of Snowdonia are to the North East. There are a great variety of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops in the local area. A bowling green, children’s play area, football pitch, mini-golf courses and tennis courts are also within walking distance of the property. The area is popular for cycling, sailing, surfing, bird watching, rock pooling, walking and horse riding. There are many excellent golf courses nearby such as Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Nefyn and Harlech(Royal St. David’s) and sea, lake and river fishing spots throughout the area. The train station is a 5 minute walk from the flats and local buses are great for visiting neighbouring towns/villages and exploring the many other beaches along the peninsula. The museum, boyhood home and grave of former Prime Minister David Lloyd George, can be found in Llanystumdwy a 2 mile walk away. The property is ideally located for touring the beautiful Lleyn peninsula, Snowdonia and visiting Criccieth, Harlech, Caernarfon and Conway castles. The scenic railway to Ffestiniog is within 5 miles of the flats and the pretty, Italianate village of Portmeirion (scene of ‘The Prisoner’) is only 8 miles away.

Stunning views

Reviewed By ImmigrantTyke

Just spent 4 days here in this magical place. The apartment is superbly fitted out with wonderful sea views. The beach is literally 20 metres away. The town itself is very hilly so not ideal if you have difficulty walking. Plenty of places to visit nearby too but you may not need to. We spent our last day here lounging around and watching the sea and the seagulls. Others have seen dolphins but we did not. An ideal place for a few days of R&R. Will be coming back.
