Our beautiful building, in the 30s, today is cultural heritage of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Fully renovated through a retrofit, it has 14 modern flats, 8 of 32 m2, 2 of 45 m2, one of 56m2 and the other three of 60 m2, with cable TV, WIFI, Air Conditioning Split, queen or King size bed, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen.

Reviewed By nickamc80We stayed at the Sugar Loft Apartments in Santa Teresa for 5 nights. Amelia was absolutely wonderful. Our apartment had gorgeous views looking towards Sugar Loaf, the cable cars along with the neighborhoods. Bed was extremely comfortable, Air Conditioning was cold, plenty of room for 2 adults in our place. Outside on Friday night the restaurant/bar has outdoor seating while listening to local music and of course people watching. Other restaurants nearby- this is a great neighborhood. We felt very safe all times. The Santa Teresa yellow trolley is just a short walk down the street. The park ruins are up the hill and definitely worth a visit for more stunning views of Rio. Uber is plenty and cheap. Thank you Amelia- we will be back!

We had no natural light and felt like a punishment cell The furniture was dated and the fridge rusted. The bathroom was cramped and had a very old suite. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything outside and next door. We tried to put the booking down to experience but after three days had to check out when we were offered no help or refund This is the first time I have written a review like this Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else

Adriana, the owner, will immediately put you at ease, without much effort, to be honest. The place is beautiful, from all rooms and common areas you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city and the bay. Small pool with outdoor area very well maintained and enjoyable. Sumptuous breakfast, served in a veranda that allows you to open your eyes with confidence on the day. Reachable by the traditional streetcar that serves this neighborhood, is within walking distance of historic local scene carioca. The costs are commensurate with the quality of the offer. If you don't go there, you give up a wonderful experience....

Localizada próximo ao Pontal do Atalaia, pôr do sol mais bonito da região e a Prainha do Pontal do Atalaia. A Praia Grande fica a 5 min a pé.

Reviewed By C2687RWpaula1. Childrens bunk bed had no barrier on the top bunk so we had to move the double bed next to it in case she fell. 2. Hard, uneven mattress and lumpy pillows 3. Our room was not cleaned during our stay. We later found out this was due to us not giving them our key to so, which we had not been asked to do. Being a beach location and with young kids this meant sand everywhere. 4. No maps, information, or help given. Language was a barrier but we used Google translate and still had none of our questions answered.

Great location, poor hotel!
Reviewed By MarioRJ86Pros: The apartments are located near the heart of Buzios, "Rua das Pedras". Very good location and good room view. Cons: No room service, no elevator, too many stairs to get into the apartment (really not recommended for Seniors), bugs, very simple apartment, poor security and too expensive. When my wife and I stayed there in March/2016, the toilet in the apartment was clogged before we checked in.
