Wonderful base in San Candido

The property feels like a home away from home and the apartments are clean, tasteful and very comfortable. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which was massive. Breakfast is plentiful and of excellent quality. There is no restaurant in the hotel for an evening meal, but many options in walking distance. The spa is well appointed and provides a good opportunity to wind down after a busy skiing or hiking day. The underground parking is an added bonus. Walking distance from the slopes in Baranci and bus to Versciaco stops right outside the hotel. Other ski resorts are a short car/ train ride away. If there is one thing I would comment/ suggest to be improved: there did not appear to be eggs to order at breakfast. This would be a small “add on” that would be very much appreciated by many travellers.

Beautiful Family Run Hotel
Reviewed By 888julianbWe stayed here between 6th and 13th March and cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is immaculate throughout. The family who own it are kind and courteous and will go out of their way to help. They even gave us tips on best places to ski and how to navigate there. Breakfast was superb and when relaxing with a drink in the bar we were often brought a selection of meats, breads and snacks. They allowed us to sit in the wine cellar one evening and the spa facilities are excellent. I would definitely recommend this fantastic hotel to anyone visiting the area. Centrally located for quick access to the lifts and a great selection of restaurants nearby.

The new Apparthotel Gartenresidence Nalserhof We are proud to present to you the brand new Nalserhof. It was our personal belief to change, and to go in a different direction, with more room, much more comfort and the time for relaxation. We putted our whole experience and love in the rebuilding of the Nalserhof and tried to combine tradition with luxury. Out of that symbiosis originated a small paradise.
Perfect for Families
Reviewed By herzibopperlWe had a totally relaxed stay at the hotel with our little child thanks to the excellent staff, super larger room(s) and logistics for children. There´s a pool for children (outside), playground inside and outside etc. Only two minutes away is a pizzeria and even only one minute away a litte shop for grocceries.

Car broken down!!
Reviewed By hannahdanielrachelOur car wouldn't start after 3 days of staying at Gasthaus Babsi, Philip went to the local garage to get someone to help us, and he was also able to translate phone calls for us with the VW garage in Bolzano. We were able to stay for an extra 3 days while our car was fixed, and while we were there I celebrated my birthday with an extra strong G&T and a Tirimasu ( on the house!!) Lovely family and a lovely place to stay! Food was excellent too!!

Reviewed By Rita MLike the feel of living in an alpine village for the first time. The place is quite and clean. Had all we needed. We walked to the centre of the town. Near ski lift. Loved to hear the small river going down while walking to town.

This quiet and panoramic area is at the foot of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies natural park, right in the centre of the Plan de Corones ski area which offers 103 km of perfectly prepared slopes, a toboggan run and 12 km of cross-country ski run . Our house provides a varied buffet breakfast or a bread and milk delivery service to the apartment, sitting room, a lift, wellness centre, ski room, free bikes, a large private car park, barbecue and a Hot-Whirlpool on the outside.

Reviewed By sharonO186525Very nice apartments right by the ski bus stop , there is a bar and breakfast room if you don’t fancy cooking breakfast , very reasonably priced, the hot tub outside is lovely ! The only downside ( for us but may not be for others) is that you have to be naked in the spa area and some people were using the outdoor hot tub naked too ( a bit of a shock for my daughter ) , it is a lovely establishment though and good value for money

We were checking out Merano hotels the day before arriving and almost every hotel room was booked. We kept seeing Kuntino Suites pop up on our online searching. Online this place looked gorgeous and clean. How could it possibly be available right now? So, we take a chance and booked it. Whoa!!!!! Did we strike gold!!!!!!!! What a GEM of a place. It’s fairly new…Hence why it wasn’t booked (lucky for us!!). It’s brand new, expertly laid out, modern, CLEAN, cool, location can’t be beat. It has a beautiful and functional kitchen, which we didn’t use, but the plates and cups and utensils were spotless! The host Aurelie was perfection! Her and her family own the property. Besides just being adorable, she was so knowledgeable and took a genuine interest in us and our stay in Merano. We loved her. She sure knows how to run a property! They have a cafe on the first floor of the apartment - normally we venture out to eat, but stopped there for a quick bite and coffee before we headed out for the day. It was phenomenal (all the locals were there so that's a good sign!) . If we go back to Merano we will stay here again (if it’s available!….I have a feeling it’s going to be booked because it was such an absolute GEM of a place!)

Convenient and value added
Reviewed By 766marjWhile I found obtaining information about this town, prior to arriving, challenging, this room was something I did right. Our room was very large by European standards, had a full kitchen, small balcony and large bathroom. We are across the street from a grocery store. Bank machine, bistro and bar are part of the property. We were offered swimming pool and bus passes. The gondolas are about 1 km from the premises. Ortisei is a pretty little ski resort town...the Dolomites are stunning!
