The tour guide was excellent and gave us space (and info when we asked). Reasonable prices and excellent communication. 5/5

Evora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known as the museum city for the richness and history present in every street and corner of the city. We spent a one day guided tour with Pedro, and we had the best time! We went from Lisbon to Evora, saw cork factory, Bone Chapple, and the Ervideira Winery. Pedro was so informative and did a wonderful job at customizing the day to our liking. He brought us to a fabulous quaint restaurant for coffee and snacks and later to a restaurant where we had our favorite meal of our entire visit in Portugal. Pedro also took pictures along the way and even gave us a special souvenir from Portugal! The entire day was one of our highlights, and we highly recommend Pedro and Growing Adventure!

Sintra is a beautiful & romantic town in Lisbon. A day trip to Sintra & the Penna palace has left me with replenished energy and superb sensual booster rather than a days physical energy drain out, touring the whole place! Being the last palace built of the 19th century, it has a mix of modern majesty and the ancient mix of architecture. The surrounding forest designed & created with more than 2000 species of trees brought from all over the world, gives us the peaks of freshness, when you walk through the woods. Walking uphill to the Cross at the highest point of the hill was a thrill. Apart from the Sintra town hop-in hop-off tour buses, you have a seperate bus that operates as hop-in & off, inside the penna palace hill gates. Start early from Lisbon to Sintra to breathe in a lengthy time in the Penna palace & the woods and not to miss, the Cape Roca which is the western most edge of the European continent overlooking the Atlantic ocean. You get a train to Sintra from Rossio metro station at Placa Avenida. Organised tours to Sintra from Lisbon are quite expensive. Visit to the Moorish castle can be optimal and a personal choice.

My wife and I have just returned early from a trip that incorporated a tour through Spain and Portugal organised by Portugal Trails. Although the outbreak of the Covid19 pandemic prevented us from completing the tour, we were highly impressed by the thoughtful and meticulous pre-planning provided by the company, the quality of all bookings and recommendations as well as the attention to our welfare during the growing emergency. The cancellations and refunding of unused portions of the tour were efficiently and quickly completed with a minimum of fuss. I cannot recommend this company too highly.

There were parts that got pretty bumpy along the way which was great fun- and the guide was always taking photos and videos of us which was awesome to have some memories of the trip. Although the weather was not on our side, I really enjoyed this sunset cruise! When I decided to book a sailboat cruise on the Tagus, I struggled to find any tours still operating, especially on New Year's Eve. Luckily I saw one of the Tagus Cruises ships on the river in Belem and searched for them online. The booking was easy, we were six people in total. The skipper was very friendly and told me a lot of cool sailing stories while also explaining how the boat worked! We had a complimentary drink and although it rained for a bit, we saw a rainbow at the end and that made it all worth it. Highly recommended!

This tour is a must for any visitors to the Lisbon area. Our guide, Tania, was amazing. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable and made sure we had the best day possible. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there were only 4 of us on the tour - myself and my sister and another couple (who were also absolutely lovely and we became friends). Sintra and Cascais are so beautiful and the tour allowed us ample time to explore both areas. Tania gave us great tips on the best photo opportunity spots and also on the best places to eat. The area was very quiet compared to pre-Covid times, but it was really nice to see Sintra, the palace and surrounding area without hordes of tourists - no queues. We wore our masks at all times so everyone felt safe from a Covid point of view. I cannot fault the service and the tour. Great value and amazing to see these places with so few tourists about. One of the most beautiful areas I have ever seen. It is quite hilly so be prepared for some walking - but you can always get a lift up to the palace grounds if you have limited mobility, so don't let that put you off.

This tour mentioned that we would go to Pena palace, unfortunately the roads were closed and as an alternative, we had lots of free time to visit another palace which wasn’t too interesting or very impressive. Also, we had to pay for the entry into Sintra, which was disappointing. The tour also mentioned going to the casino, went in fact you just drive past it?! The only positives were: Sintra was lovely and the restaurant in Cascais did excellent food (which isn’t part of the tour). Overall, I would read the inclusions/exclusions before booking this tour. Very disappointing.
