The doors were still open after 5pm and you enter into a spacious and well lit area with a section set aside for quiet prayer and contemplation. A cheap guide leaflet gives you a tour with an unusually large number of commemorative plaques on the walls celebrating the many achievements of the Guernsey folk with names that echo in the street names of the town. A rather good little shop selling higher grade items which you are trusted to pay for.

A beautiful Anglican Church, some 800 years old. Open daily, and Sunday services at 8.30 am, 11 am and 6.30 pm. Everyone welcome.

I go to this church as often as I can to put flowers on my dads grave.the gentleman keeps it lovely.The church is lovely inside and we go and ring the bells every Christmas a tradition for the family for many generations
