The name of this place says it all 'Miramar' Palace, it certainly looks onto the sea, and what incredible view! It's the former summer residence of the Spanish queen Maria Cristina who spent her summers here for 40 years. It currently hosts the University Summer Courses and other special events. During the summer it opens at weekends for visits. In any case, it's worth just popping in for a stroll on the grounds and gardens to enjoy the magnificent views of the Concha bay.

it's not a very known place to visit in the basque country, but this castle is amazing. the only problem is that is the inside is not visitable but in any case, is worth to see the outside. Car is required to arrive there, you can do a route. It's close to Bilbao.
