Staden Grange

Lovely and clean, tiniest of bathrooms

Reviewed By phoebep367

Stayed at Staden Grange b&b - room was clean, complimentary drinks and slippers. Bed had lovely pillows. Bathroom, although very clean and new looking, was exceptionally tiny - shower is unusable for anyone of a larger girth or with any mobility issues (shower has a sliding door with very small space to enter the shower). Would not stop for more than one night purely because of the shower (I am large but I have never been anywhere that I can’t fit through the shower door!) Breakfast was nice with a selection of cereals and toast and a choice of hot cooked breakfasts that you order the night before. Mushroom seemed uncooked but didnt spoil the rest. There was no mini farm which was part of the reason we booked here which was disappointing It is a lovely looking place and the camping area looked pleasant. Mini park for younger children. Its a taxi ride to town unless you are a serious walker - costs around £8. All in all it is a lovely place but if all the bathrooms are so tiny it would not be for us again

Woodpecker holiday cottage

Reviewed By ShellBellBirch

A lovely stay at Grange Leisure, we stayed in the woodpecker holiday cottage. It looked like it had recently been renovated, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Large rooms, 2 bathrooms, garden & hot tub. Close to the road but it didn’t cause any problems. The site was nice with a bar/restaurant- tried a pizza on the first night - tasty & fresh… shop was really big & had plenty of stock, amusements & entertainment. Lovely area with fishing lakes, golf course & only 5 minutes drive to Mablethorpe. There is also a water sports/inflatable area that looked good (I think it’s a separate company to Grange leisure) but it seemed quite expensive.

Wonderful Birthday Weekend

Reviewed By The-Harrison-Family

We have just had a fantastic weekend at Woodland Waters celebrating my 60th Birthday. 5 beautiful lodges, all 10 rooms and 4 aravan pitches were taken up and everyone loved it. Our lodge, Mallard, is beautiful, clean, warm and comfortable. Family with hot tub lodges had so much fun. The food in the bar and restaurant a Is superb, and all 190 people at the party Saturday loved it. Whether going for a day, weekend or longer, we all highly recommend Woodland Waters.

Sealands Holiday Home Park

Laver Leisure does not operate a rental facility for any of their Holiday Homes but instead operates 15 great Parks for you to chose from to base your own Holiday Home. All our Parks occupy prime positions in and around Ingoldmells and Chapel-St-Leonards, with all enjoying direct access to miles of sandy beach without having to cross busy roads. Our local Team are always on hand with help and advice to make sure you make the most of your stay. Owning your own Holiday Home on a Laver Leisure Park allows you to enjoy endless holidays from March to October (winterised Parks to the end of November) - and it's not as expensive as you might think. A number of our Parks allow Owners to reduce the costs of ownership by letting their Home. Any rentals are agreed privately with the Owners directly. It is the Owner's responsibility to organise cleaning and maintenance between lettings. On most Parks we operate a Key Dispensing service.

Lovely place

Reviewed By dearwbcgsy

Been here a few times, lovely place, great lodges. Woodhall spa very nice place for a family and not too busy. The lodge park is getting a lot busier as they are now putting more lodges around one of the smaller ponds which is a shame but understandable if you can fill them.

The caravans were really bad condition. Duvet, pillows without linen and cover. Mainly the staff at swimming pool reception need to understand how customer service work, they were really rude. Definitely will not recommend to anyone.

Brilliant!

Reviewed By Geoff I

We stayed at Lucie and Joel’s yurts for a joint family celebration and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. We only live 4 miles away but could have been a thousand! Joel welcomed us from the off, showing us all the facilities and leaving us to it. The weather was great (always a bonus but never guaranteed!) and we spent lots of time outdoors playing games and walking in the countryside. We also booked lunch at the local pub (The Fox) which was lovely - especially as I had proposed to my wife there some 19 years earlier! Everything we needed for the stay was provided which made life very easy and the relaxing break we wanted. I can’t recommend Love2Yurt enough - we will definitely be back with more family…thanks!

Special treat due to family illness

Reviewed By glyns953

Well, with two hours to get ready, we were gifted a surprise stay in the gothic yurt. From initial contact to leaving, Darren and Katherine were superb hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The previous review explains everything perfectly. So, for a relaxing, but very different luxury break book, don't delay, you'll be pleasantly surprised as we were!
