Top 10 Bus Tours in Seoul, South Korea

March 2, 2022 Kaleigh Reichenbach

Seoul is the business and cultural hub of South Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. The teahouses and shops of Insadong give you a taste of Korean flavor, which you can further experience with a visit to the grounds and museums of Gyeongbokgung. UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung Palace is a fine example of authentic ancient architecture.

My husband and I loved this tour. Harry was very knowledgeable and accommodating to a few stops along the way. The tour is absolutely stunning - the sites we saw. We got in some leg work to burn off the calories from eating the delicious Korean food. The van was also very comfortable and I was able to get a few winks in to stave off the jet lag. :)

This was a great tour. Michael the best guide. Nothing too small for him to help with, and lots of fun too. The cherry blossom outside the Hanok was amazing and the night we spent in the village very peaceful. Make sure to visit the mask museum before attending the performance, which is very interesting and lively. The kids enjoyed it too. The village is very special - Over 300 years old and it feels like it has never changed. After the frenetic pace of Seoul, it is a fantastic place to chill out for a day or two.

I actually visited Korea in September of 2019 but the system would only allow me to select as far back as Dec. Justin was practically perfect. The weather was touch and go during the week (thanks Typhoon LingLing), but he was extremely flexible the entire way through. He let me dictate the locations, the poses, the time, and everything in between. This was a solo trip and a birthday photoshoot I was planning. Justin made absolutely sure that I looked amazing for my big day. The edits had a surprisingly fast turnaround with stunning work as well. I’m African American and sometimes photographers don’t consider my complexion when taking photos in the bright light. Justin didn’t have that problem at all and didn’t try to “brighten” my skin when taking or editing the photos. I would highly recommend him and would have him take my photos again without a second thought. He was also a pleasure to be with and a positive companion for the last days of my trip.

We are in Seoul for 6 weeks, and I have to say this is one of my BEST days so far. I took my 7 year old daughter, and we clocked 11 miles today and she was a champ!! We had Ray as our tour guide, and was just the absolute best. It was actually pretty crowded the day we went since it was a holiday weekend, but he helped us to navigate the crowds and went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable. My daughter even left her iPad in his car after he dropped us off at a meeting point. We panicked, called tripadvisor, and he drove it back 30 minutes later on his own time. What a guy!! He was also so knowledgable. As far as the sights you will take in- BREATHTAKING! I have travelled all over the world, and this was just unbelievable. The cable car was full at Mt. Seorak, but instead Ray hiked us up to a waterfall that we wouldn't have had time to see otherwise. The views!!! Nami island is a must do- it was just adorable and everything about it was magic. DO THIS TOUR! You will not be sorry!!!! If you are looking to get out of the city for the city for a day and experience nature, this is the perfect way to do it.

This was my second trip with Miae at Top Korea Tour. Three years ago she took me on a city tour of Seoul. I had so much fun and learned so much that I reached out again on my next visit to the area. This time we traveled 1-1/2 hours outside of Seoul to historic Gangwha Island. We visited Gwangseongbo Fortress, built in the 17th century to protect Korea from foreign invasion, and Jeondeungsa Buddhist Temple dating back to the 4th century. Our lunch was a delicious traditional Korean barbeque. After lunch we visited the Gangwha Peace Observatory where we could look across the Han River through telescopes to the farms and mountains of North Korea. From the observatory we proceeded to the popular Joyang Bangjik Coffee shop built on a former factory site and retaining much of the original decor. We visited the Ganghwa Anglican Cathedral combining traditional Korean architecture with Anglican Christian interior. We walked through the Pungmul Traditional Market offering locally grown foods such as turnips, sweet potatoes, and fish along with handcrafts. Then we returned to Seoul. Pickup and dropoff service was provided to my hotel. Miae is an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, upbeat, friendly, and fun. Top Korea Tour is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time doing the Seoul Street Food Tour with Julian this past weekend. He showed us lots of great spots to try both in Namdaemun and on the way to Insa-dong. Julian also showed us some palaces, temples and museums in the area. It was a great day and we learned a lot about Seoul. We highly recommend the tour and picking Julian as a tour guide!
