Popped in on spec and can honestly say this is the best meal Ive had in a long time. I had hake, kids had lamb burger and salmon and husband had steak. Absolutely beautiful, could not recommend this pub enough. Only downside was I couldnt manage a dessert. Lovely service too!

Booked a table here for my husbandâs birthday. They knew we were vegetarian so catered for us really well. Food was top quality and tasted delicious. Polite and friendly staff. Fantastic views from the table. Parking was easy..near entrance. A lot of thought went into finer details such as fresh roses on table, quality napkins all the simple things that make a difference. We will definitely return..soon! Highly recommended. Fine dining but not overpriced. Value for money.

We'd never been to Wadebridge before. We happened on Caraways at lunchtime and were delighted. It's small, but comfortable and cosy. There is a warm atmosphere enhanced by the friendliness of the service and the jazz music + the obvious appreciation of the regulars. The menu was engaging too. All the regular lunch items were there but so was curried banana soup, chowder and other creative offerings. Great place.

Great little coffee/tea shop with lovely warm cream teas. Did great milkshakes for the kids. All of the cakes are home made. Would highly recommend a visit.What a lovely review of our cream teas! Family holiday based in Wadebridge and we were delighted to find Warneâs.We visited on two occasions and can highly recommend the hake dish (see photo) and the Fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. However, all dishes we tried were well presented and delicious to eat. We had x 3 children with us and it was brilliant to find somewhere were adults could eat great food but so could the children. They do a three course menu for the children for £10.00 each which was very good value for quality food. The children all loved it. But donât go if you have picky kids who only eat nuggets or pizza. The staff were very accommodating, polite, friendly and despite being particularly busy the first evening we went looked after us weWe make our evenings a special part of the holiday so didnât mind the wait between courses the quality oof the food served being more important. Desserts Yum we can recommend all the desserts the on the children menu especially the chocolate brownies.For adults the sticky toffee pudding was very nice and the Fresh fruit Elton Mess with raspberry sorbet Mmmm..... All in all two lovely evenings out

We enjoyed a lovely meal here with cocktails, great service, well thought out menu and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the chicken burger and pork dish! We were so full after our mains so didnât try a dessert, they looked great though!

This is a quaint restaurant which you could almost overlook....but don't! The food is exceptional (one of the finest fish dishes I have ever had). Everyone in our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Very friendly service. Will definitely visit again.

Just been this afternoon (26.07.2019). With it being the last full day of our holiday, we decided it would be the perfect time to go out and look for a place to try our very first CORNISH CREAM TEA and we are so glad we decided to choose and come to this lovely, quaint place. The cafe is beautifully decorated and it really does make you feel like you have entered Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter's party place. I'm more a coffee person than a tea person but was so glad I stuck to having tea with my Cornish Cream Tea as it went down grandly with everything. The scones were served warm and it was just so light, fluffy and absolutely delicious with the jam ("it's JAM first in Cornwall!") and clotted cream. It was heaven on a plate! The owner (we assume she was the owner) and her staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming. Loved every second we were there. You need to visit this place when in Wadebridge. My husband was eyeing the Victoria Sponge Cake. I think he'd have ordered a slice if he still had some space in his tummy for it as it looked divine, too. Would come back if ever we are in the area again. Thank you.

Well, what can't I say?!The homemade soups are to die for, the panini's are absolutely delicious (especially the Mexican chicken ) and the chocolate brownie......... I am yet to taste a better one!!! It just melts in the mouth! You cannot go to this shop and NOT try the brownie .The staff are really friendly/helpful and happy to make things to your taste.I believe they do:-Panini'sWraps (hot and cold)SandwichesSalad boxesSoupsJacket potatoesCakesTeas and coffeesCold drinks and milkshakes!!We have also had a few cake platters delivered to work for a 'treat' day and let me tell you now, its like feeding time at the zoo with everyone fighting over them.

Visited here this morning after landing from Manchester. Big warm friendly greeting from Kevin (I might have the name wrong) who is such a welcoming bloke, also very entertaining all the way through breakfast. It's a well known fact that fisherman can spin a yarn, well as a Cornish man you're never far from the sea, and with a history of ex navy then you've got a good chance of being an expert on yarns. Kevin has got the art of story telling down too a T. Worth just dropping in for a coffee and chat with Kevin to hear how proud he is of his and his family achievements, such a genuine bloke. But don't just get a coffee, get something to eat as well. I had a small breakfast and it was ever so tasty, plus a decent cup of coffee these set me up for the day. If you want to chop and change anything on the breakfast then that wasn't too much trouble either. You can eat outside or in, but note it is a roadside cafe and there is passing traffic. It doesn't look like your standard roadside cafe, it's been prettier up a bit. You can also take away if you want. If you fancy some decent grub and enjoy some friendly local banter, this is your place to go.
