The Danny

The 1903 Daniel Adamson Steamship, affectionately known as The Danny, is a cruising and static visitor attraction located in Liverpool, Salford Quays, Anderton Boat Lift and Ellesmere Port at The National Waterways Museum (see website for timetable and locations). The ship, which is 15th on the Historic Register of National Ships has been restored by volunteers and help from a £3.8Million Heritage Lottery Fund. We offer cruises along The Manchester Ship Canal to Salford Quays from Ellesmere Port or Liverpool, River Weaver Cruises to Acton Bridge and Anderton Boat Lift and special cruises. We are available for private hire and Talks, Tours and Lunches are available for private groups and societies. Food and drink is available on the Ship during cruises although own picnics are also allowed. The Danny is fully licensed.
