Hotel just for sleep and go out all day

Reviewed By jdelmoral_mx

The hotel has the basic, nice cable system and internet. rooms are far from luxury and bathroom is clean. There are some rooms and bathrooms that are under maintenance, but for they price and the very convenient location is a "fare" Hotel. Breakfast is very good, even if you have to pay for it. Tlaxcala is a place where you are not in the hotel, have to go out. some or probably most of rooms have no windows.

Mexican Home Cooking School of Puebla Cuisine and B&B

Mexican Home Cooking School teaches Traditional Cuisine from the city of Puebla. We are passing on recipes and traditions that are quickly getting lost as Mexico becomes a 1st world country. Our dishes are family recipes not found in restaurants environments and our classes are small, hands-on and limited to 6 students. We offer an intimate culinary retreat unique in Mexico. We located at "Casa Carmelita" a private compound in the country side 15 min outside of the city of Tlaxcala. The main house is a comfortable "hacienda" style home. There is one large double accommodation with private patio, one 2 room suite, a private detached stone cottage with private garden and a large two-room suite with a separate sitting area. All accommodations have a private entrance, en-suite bath, and fireplace. It is a rural lakeside setting with, with private gardens, fountains and surrounded by 3 volcanoes.

The very best place to stay in Tlaxcala

Reviewed By felicia-toronto

I'm so happy that we found La Quinta Amada. Everything about our stay here was wonderful. To start off with, our room huge, our bathroom with a walk-in shower was wonderful, and both were immaculate and very pretty. There was also a room next to ours that we could enjoy that had a TV, couches and a kitchen. Added to all this were the grounds, there were about 2-3 acres of grounds with beautiful plants, seating and hammocks. And the views! We could see many volcanos, one of which was erupting! La Quinta Amada was about a 10 minute colectivo drive into the town of Tlaxcala. it was worth the drive because all the hotels looked very tired in town. Next time, we'll just stay at La Quinta and eat close-by.

Nice small hotel, but shower too small to fit in

Reviewed By Efrain D

I just attended a course at the Universidad de Tlaxcala and we were placed at this hotel for the full week. Undoubtedly, this hotel is conveniently located in downtown with several good options for breakfast and dinner. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and rooms are kept very clean. However, bathrooms are improvised very small spaces attached to rooms as if there was no design and good judgement. Upon arrival, I was offered a room, M4, but soon realized the bathroom was too small. So I asked for a different room. Very nicely I was offered a second option, which turned equally small, room M3. Just imagine how is to bath in a 65 cm by 65 cm shower ! I am thin, but not that small! Anyway, we did not have the option to change hotel fro the week. I do not recommend this small and modest hotel (it is certainly not boutique, as advertised). Look for other options in downtown at this price range.

Bueno

Tiene lo básico de un hotel. Tal ves un poco chicas las habitaciones. Las tarifas son acorde a la media. Buena limpieza. El único punto negativo es que el WiFi no llega bien a todas las habitaciones y hay que estarse en la recepción para pescarlo.
