Only five minutes walk from the beach and close to all amenities including bars, restaurants, dive centres and shopping.

Reviewed By SagarJ278Kai, who runs Casa Cool, is one of the kindest and warmest people we have ever met. We were down with a heatstroke during our stay (having had too much fun in Phuket previously ?) and Kai went out of her way to be there for us. Not only did she set up an appointment with a doctor, she drove us to and from the appointment as well. Given the states we were in, this was really appreciated. She always saw to it that we were heartily fed and had laundered clothes. She gave us suggestions for places to visit and also let us use a scooty to reach them. She coordinated with the bus driver for our onward journey, and even gave us snacks for the ride! Before coming to Khao Lak, we had read in another review that someone felt she was very motherly...we definitely second that having seen how much she looked after us while we were there. She refused to take any extra payment from our side when we wanted to express our gratitude for all that she did for us. She is one of those people who inspires you to be better person! Kai, we hope our paths cross again! :) The place is very cosy and the breakfast is amazing! There are a lot of food and massage options around We would definitely recommend Casacool for anyone visiting Khao Lak!

Reviewed By Lovekhaolack2020I strongly advise you do not to stay at this property if you are staying longer than a couple of days. i booked for 14 nights and left after three. The rooms are extremely basic and in need of re-decoration,the sockets are halfway up the walls and no bedside table, so if you wish to charge your phone overnight it has to dangle from the socket. There was mould in the shower room, and the sink was NOT attached to the wall ( dangerous ). There was only 4 hangers in the " wardrobe ". The plunge pool has several tiles missing, again dangerous for children. Breakfast was a joke!! I am still waiting for a refund from the owner for the 11 days I didn't stay, the owner is refusing to refund me. I took photos of all my grievances but they are too big to attach.

excellent hide-away
Reviewed By Maro_SzClean and modern, basic but comfortable. Located in a back alley quite far from from the hustle still a 15min walking distance from it. Beach near by but there is quite big hotel construction site next to it so the beach is loud with all the machines working behind Your back. Hotel provides scooter rental so You can go to all other beaches... Boongalowes located around the pool might be a little noisy if kids run and play around or if people talk loud, but at night it usually bacome quiet. We've stayed there for a week and all other guests were rather not a pool-party-types :) So it was quiet and tranquil. We had a room on the building ground floor with the entrance from the garden around the corner from the pool (#13) so it was super quiet, probably same standard as in boongalow but also cheaper and still you have chairs and table outside and some private space. The room was comfy, everyday cleaned and serviced with water, towels and bedding. They do not serve breakfasts but every morning there was cofee (real cofee-machine:) and tea, toasts & jam and some fruits available for everyone. Chapeau bas for that - coffee was really great.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean with really comfy beds and fresh cotton sheets. Every single staff member was eager to please and just delightful. Food was excellent. Location couldn't be better!

Huge room on 2 floors with 2 separeted bedrooms
Reviewed By lockys25Very good accommodation, if you don't like places with many tourists. However, everything you need is available. We've been with two teenage daughters and it's perfect that everyone could stay in peace. There are two separated bedrooms on second floor, each one has own tv and wc/shower. We had a room with access to swimming pool, everyone was happy to use it :-) Hotel organizes transfer during daytime and we used it several time - to visit food shop, very nice Andaman View point and Waterfall, which are around 2-3 km from the hotel. We have also rent a scooter and used it to get the beach and market, rent a car for one day and visited Khao Sak national park (40-50 min from the hotel). Beach restaurant has free transfer and they came to pick up us from hotel and also returned us to the hotel after dinner (service organized by restaurant, not by hotel). We liked the hotel so much, that stayed already second time here (2019 and 2020).

Reviewed By Odyssey16371034474Nice resort in a green area, very quiet but also very close to the main street, we recommend to book the bigger rooms. The owners were very kind and helpfull, we rented a scooter to visit the market and other interesting sightseeing spots like the tsunami memorial, the natinal park and the waterfalls and we also booked a trip to the similan islands which were very beautiful. The owners arranged all this for us and also a transfer back to Phuket AirPort. Thanks!! Greetings from Holland

Leş gibi havlular ve çarşaflar. Odayı görünce check-in dahi yapmadan çıktık. Paramızı iade etmediler. Çok yazık...

Petite hôtel familial au top

Petite structure tenue par des locaux , nous avons logé dans le bungalow famille qui était immense . Les bungalows autour de la piscine d’une chambre étaient également très beaux dans un cadre de vacances idéal . Par contre je vous déconseille les deux chambres premier prix (pas beaucoup moins chères ) mais mitoyennes , sans vue sur la piscine et juste à côté du petit déjeuner donc possiblement bruyantes . Pour le reste rien à redire la piscine était top : grande et chaude et quasiment jamais personne dedans vu que pas beaucoup de bungalows . Le personnel était très gentil et toujours prêt à aider . Le petit déjeuner est compris : il est fait à la demande donc ça prend un peu de temps mais on est en vacances donc pas de soucis ! Pour la localisation c’était très bien car pas dans le bruit du centre ville de khao lak , loin de la rue donc au calme tout en étant à proximité de tout et surtout très proches des plus belles plages de khao lak . Bref on a beaucoup aimé cet hôtel que nous vous recommandons
