Clean, has water coolers almost every corner of the building, has even ironing facilities. Tooth brush and biscuits with coffee provided. Only draw bck was the water pressure. Too low. Otherwise all was good. Was there for a night. Directly opposite jknns, where I needed to go. Convenient. Would definitely stay again

The Dusun is seven self-catering, socially-conscious eco-bungalows on a durian orchard. In 1984, our family began planting trees on this 12-acre lot. We now have huge trees, 2 forest walks, 6 bungalows, 2 pools, deer, chickens, fish and vegetables when the elements cooperate. The Dusun is designed after our family lifestyle of privacy, long talks, cooking up storms, beautiful views from open-concept houses and watching and listening to nature. It is the perfect place to spend quiet quality time with loved ones or by yourself. There is wifi in a common area and no TV in any of our bungalows. It is suitable for those looking for an off-grid nature experience. With bungalows on the top of a hill and wind off the forest reserve, we enjoy cooler temperatures at night. Each house has fully equipped kitchens and outdoor barbecues. We are committed to low-impact resort operations, hiring locally, supporting the community, composting, phosphate-free products, organic farming and air-cond free houses. We continue to nurture and sculpt our little piece of paradise with more forest walks, plants and animals.
Great way to experience forest & kampung life
Reviewed By wailun_ngOur family of 2 adults and a child, stayed at The Dusun on May 7-8, 2022, and we enjoyed ourselves very much. It was both a forest and rustic kampung house experience. When staying at places like this, one must remember you are in the forest and you are in a basic rustic kampung type of cabin house. So beware: 1. Lots of insects and mosquitoes, although there were very few mosquitoes in the house itself. 2. Jungle is very noisy and you might not sleep well. 3. It's basic accommodation so don't expect luxury hotel and if you do, don't go. 4. It may be expensive as there are only 7 houses on site and during the weekdays, there may be few guests so all the cost must be recouped on weekends or holidays. 5. Waterfall was badly damaged by landslide in December 2021 so it is closed to all as it is still under repairs. 6. Cannot bring dogs or pets to hotels in Malaysia or elsewhere in the world. 6. Dusun provide most amenities but not bathroom toiletries - e.g. shampoo, soap, etc. so BYO. 7. No Airconditioning but so it is cool with the ceiling fans so you don't need any. 8. Jungle walk is not easy for children and some of the ladies.

Friendly staff Stable Wi-Fi Good tv channels Cons: Room not properly cleaned Toilet dirty. Looks like never been cleaned before. Ants in the room. I have to buy insect spray to clear them. To be frank, i read thru other reviews. I'm not sure how u people can rate this hotel is clean???? Booked this place bcz it was nearby a running event which was nearby.

Great Hotel but premium price

If you're hungry, there's a food court (non-halal) that's a few shops away from the hotel. 7-11 is roughly 3mins walking distance. Cleanliness: 4 Stars Great but with minor flaws. Great as it's newly refurbish (hotel lobby & room). The room is brightly lit which is a good thing. The flaws are the ants, the stains on the bed sheets & bath robe. Ants crawled onto my leg, laptop & hand while I was sitting at the desk doing work. 1 ant is fine. If at least 5 a night then it's a problem. If you killed it there's this strong pungent smell similar to pesticide. So it's a hassle to keep washing it off when you kill it. Stains on bedsheets are pen marks & black dusty dirty stains were on the bath robe as if it's left there for quite a while. Price: 3 Stars Price is a lil too premium for such a hotel in Seremban. I would consider this more of a premium hostel than a hotel. I wouldn't mind staying here again as the minor flaws are fixable. Note to owner / admin of the hotel: If you are reading this, please train your staff to ask your customers to put on their mask while entering the premise to keep your employees & your customer safe especially during such pandemic. I was by the front desk checking in and this person came in to the hotel asking for a room. Worse of all, he wasn't wearing any mask the whole time yet cough a few rounds & standing not even 1 meter away from me. This is extemely uncomfortable. Do required your customers to put on their mask at such time.

Reviewed By mohaniyer50This is a basic hotel situated at a corner in a commercial district of Seremban Jaya on the outskirts of the city of Seremban some 60km away from Kuala Lumpur. A mere three minute walk is 7 Eleven a 24 hour convenient store. A five minute walk away is a Food Court serving a variety of Chinese food including vegan food.There are Muslim, Indian and Western restaurants in the vicinity. The room itself is a basic two bedded air-conditioned with an attached bathroom.There is hair dryer, coffee making facility too.There is no in-house food nor restaurants.Hence the expectation is only for testing.Rooms are very small and little space for movement.Cost is RM 100 ( USD 25) per room per night.In general a basic just clean hotel in a commercial suburb.

Reviewed By 855jesstThis is the first time I stayed at Oyo S2 hotel. On checking in, you will need to put a 50RM deposit and 10RM tourism fee. I will highlight some of the things that I like and some cons that could be improved. Pro: 1.Close to AEON mall and some local restaurants (3-5 mins walk) 2. AC is nice and cold 3. Big room 4. Friendly staff 5. Cleanliness is OK 6. Lift access to level 1 and 2 7. If you are visiting Seremban 2 to see Dr. Kwan, this is the best hotel to stay in cause Kwan medical specialist is 5 mins walk. 8. Complimentary bottle of water and there is a drink dispenser outside at the corridor. Cons: 1. Mattress is comfortable but the base is creaky 2. Bedsheets old, very thin with tiny hole 3. No hair dryer 4. On first night, my friend's towel was dirty so she asked for a new one but it faintly smell of cigarettes. They change the towel daily so after the first night, towels are clean and do not smell 5. It's a wet bathroom meaning there is no separate shower cubicle. It just takes a bit of getting used to.

Good budget hotel
Reviewed By YikHinCame to Seremban for a short trip. Booked for 2 nights. on the first night, I was given a room with no window. The room was stuffy with ciggarette smoke. I went to the reception to ask for a room change. I was attended by LYA. She was so kind and helpful that she changed the room to another new room with window. Overall the rooms are clean and decent Good for a short stay and worth the money

Reviewed By jessiechonghyEverything is Overly priced. For the room, if it’s anything more than rm 1.2k, room has nothing like a proper nice hotel / resort for the price. Furnitures, attention to details, everything was cheap furnishing. Food on the menu, rm 58 for Ayam penyet, rm 78 for iKan siakap, (knowing u r stucked in this area with no easy options for food access) rm 180 for decor where hotels of this room price gives towel swans folding decor for free. For the view and the room, is ok. But for the whole package experience, service is bad, customer service is also untrained.
