Moreover it is the location where the movie 900 by Bernardo Bertolucci was filmed. Admirable the passion and care that Alessandro and Milly put in welcoming their guests. We will be back!

Reviewed By GianlucaMarcellinoOur friends and us took up all two rooms in this lovely quiet B&B for a Saturday night while visiting some sights near Parma. The place is quite far from the city, near to the sights we were coming to visit so very convenient if you can drive there. The couple who hosted us is very friendly, and so are their dogs - so much, the latter, that the couple understandably keeps them away as one of them very enthusiastically greets strangers. Advice on where to buy food and go to eat was spot on, including the amazing Mezzadri restaurant barely a minute's walk from here. Breakfast was just as amazing, with a combination of breads, cakes, biscuits quite as rich as a 4-star hotel's, and much better in quality. The landlady did offer to cook eggs and bring more substantial savoury breakfast, which we have yet to try. Rooms were very freshly refurbished, with a mattress that's better than that I use at home. The neighbourhood is few houses. a couple miles away from the main town, itself a few miles from Parma. As quiet as it gets short of a lone house in the countryside. In the morning, the landlord greeted us and treated us to his story and world view, if pleasantly enough and for few minutes. He kindly took our hint while we were still enjoying it, and he even took some comments, making it very nearly a two-way conversation. I will leave it for you to hear directly. Highly recommended for visiting castles around Parma and other sights in the area. Prices are also very reasonable.

The structure is a typical slice of house ‘800 completely renovated in 2012. It’s located just a few steps from the monuments and the principal city attractions (cathedral, battistero, palazzo della pilotta, farnese theatre, garibaldi square and university).
The perfect place to stay in Parma
Reviewed By Bridget ERight from the start, with my initial booking enquiry about Opera 11 R&B, Roberto could not have been any more helpful and welcoming. He was there to greet us on our arrival. We were in the room on the second floor (there is one room per floor) and it was comfortable, charming and clean. The kitchen and breakfast room is on the ground floor as you enter and you are made to feel welcome to help yourself to all the facilities and drinks. In the mornings Francesca has all the breakfast ready for you to help yourself, and again, is super friendly and welcoming. Opera 11 is perfectly placed for anything that you wish to see in Parma and in the heart of fantastic bars, restaurants and galleries, etc and is easy walking distance from the station. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying at Opera 11 R&B to anyone, and very much hope that we will stay there on our next visit to Parma

Very recommended.Also the price rage is excellent. For a week we spent lower than we thought. Very spacious and comfortable.

Reviewed By knotheaduscMy husband and I recently spent three nights at La Locanda Del Borgo. I was sold on this property because of the dramatic photos of the castle, the restaurant next door, the bottle shop across the way, and the prospect of free parking. Overall, this lodging delivered on its promises, although parking was initially challenging. We arrived on a Sunday, and there were a lot of day trippers there. The room we rented was very small, but it was very clean and had most everything we needed. The only thing I didn't like was that the shutters to the window were closed and couldn't be opened. Breakfast was simple, but adequate, with delicious filled cornettos. I didn't need to be eating those, but it sure was a pleasure! We loved the wines offered at the wine and cheese shop, which appeared to be connected to the B&B. We ate there two of the three nights we stayed at the B&B, then had a fantastic pizza from the pizzeria at the little plaza near the hill to the castle. All in all, it was a unique place to stay with a friendly staff. I'm glad I booked it, if only because of the incredibly beautiful countryside nearby. You will need a car, though, and be prepared to deal with parking issues.

Large comfortable room, huge windows in the floor and a view of the beautiful garden in the morning was just indescribable impression of what he saw. Breakfast in the garden in the morning was also very to the article, as we waited a long way to Como. I strongly advise this hotel for couples, an unforgettable experience, a very romantic place.

"Bed & Parma" is a peaceful Bed & Breakfast located in the center of the town near the bus stops, in order to reach easily every part of the town. Every room has its own bathroom, a shower, soap, shampoo, TV and Wifi Connection. Every room is also characterized by a different colour, which makes it unique. There is no closing time as each guest is in possession of the keys. The breakfast area is also provided with a fridge and a microwave oven.The B&b is At the ground floor, near the Inner city. The near bus station allows you to reach every part of the city, and of the province, great for who visits Parma For work, study or relax. There also is a parking just outside the Building

Smart breakfast organization – self-served breakfast is prepared the night before, so no matter when you leave, at four in the morning or at 10 o’clock, you will have your breakfast. Breakfast is basic, but very good. Coffee is excellent; tea selection is great; plates, cups, and flatware – of good quality. You can also use the kitchen during the day. Good location – walking distance to the center, close to the train station and to the bus stop. Convenient accommodation – lovely room, spacious bathroom with toiletries, contemporary TV, good Wi-Fi speed. Perfect cleanliness – everything is very neat and very clean. The only imperfection – our room faced the main road and for a light sleeper it could be a little noisy. Overall, we highly recommend Bed&Parma.

Le Sei Dame is a bijoux hotel with just six rooms situated at the feet of the magnifiscent Castle of Bardi. The six rooms, all beautifully decorated, have ensuite bathrooms with complimentary products, free wi-fi and flat screen tv. The restaurant, 'Ristorante Le Due Spade', run by the same proprietors, specializes in traditional dishes made to a high standard and boasts guests such as Prince Albert of Monaco, Princess Doria Landi Pamphili and Brunello Cucinelli . Just one hour from the cities of Parma and Fidenza and about two hours from the Ligurian riviera, Bardi is a lovely place to relax and appreciate the unspoiled landscape of the Apennines, enjoy some good food and wine and just chill.

Reviewed By Rachel BLe sei dame is the most perfect place to stay in the heart of bardi town centre, Daniela couldn’t be a better hostess, having arrived to Bardi late on a Sunday afternoon and our accommodation failing us, with 2 children in tow, Daniela welcomed us with open arms to one of her beautiful rooms where we enjoyed 4 nights in bliss. The bedroom was decorated beautifully and the modern bathroom was completed to the highest standard. Our beds were made and new towels were provided daily. Breakfast was a added extra and was absolutely lovely and plentiful in the restaurant right outside the b&b front door. The restaurant it self ‘le due spade’ is wonderful and we have enjoyed many family meals over the years which never disappoint! Le sei dame is what Bardi really, really needed; an up to date, luxurious place to stay, where you can soak in the beautiful sights of Bardi in comfort and style.
