A puzzling experience…
Reviewed By L5040BPstellatWe have booked a room with my mother for 3 days and after we had reached the hotel we were informed that we were about to collect our things and change rooms after the first night. But this was ok .. Although the swimming pool is a very beautiful view upon one's arrival and the thing we decided to enjoy in our first afternoon, it was full of children jumping around and playing ball with their parents, something quite annoying for its size. But this was ok… Breakfast was something really pleasant and enjoyable since it was in a great variety- fruit, eggs, coffees , nuts etc- all extremely tasty for a morning meal, even for the insects of the area!! - bees and flies that were also enjoying them since nothing was sealed and protected under a lid.?? But this was still ok … The room change took place only to check that the new TV channels were out of signal - the lid on the toilet bin was broken and had to be always open - the shower had a strange old fashioned -always for my eyes- design on which the tiles were in downhill and had a sliding shape without a curtain or glass to stop the running water- But this was ok (.??) A very baffling experience for the price and pictures that gained my booking. A pleasant and totally laughing sharing experience in a beauuuuuutiful northern Greek island. Does vial thanks to Great Georgia- a powerful, extremely kind and 100% experienced hotel staff! ?? And THIS IS OK??

Reviewed By Nadia BEverything was just perfect!!!!! The breakfast was excellent!!! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfy and tidy. We recommend Hotel Macedon and for sure will be not our last holiday there.

Reviewed By Ionut-Alexandru BWe had a bad experience at the beach. We paid for 6 sunbeds (for 6 peoples). Four of us gathered on 2 sunbeds to play cards and the manager came to tell us that we are not allowed to sit two persons on one sunbed because we will break it (we are not fat people, if it counts), in a very rude way. I have visited some places aroud the world, never heard such a thing.

Reviewed By eugenio_homeFantistic place in the heart of Potos! The room was small but extra clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. We received great recommendation for beaches, restaurants and bars on the island from Irini, the receptionist. There weren't big options for the breakfast but everything was delicious. Overall, we had a great time at Cozy Suites and we recommend it to people who are looking for a place to stay in Potos.

Nothing very fancy but good enough for a good holiday
Reviewed By Dana GRooms are pretty large, clean and serviced daily. The only downside was the hot water pressure. We had breakfast - Greek traditional - tasty without being too pretentious. Location is close to the city centre with handy access to restaurants, shops and beach.

A vacation saved
Reviewed By Notis KWas on another island ,staying by choice somewhere with no internet and made a bad reservation and landed in Potos village in Thassos.Its the exact opposite of what I like in this life.Noisy,jam packed with Eastern European tourists,1 Euro items for sale and restaurants with menus that have photographs and waiters trying to entice you as you are passing by.The thing that saved my 4 day stay there was the hospitality and politeness of the owners of Ioanna'sHouse,where I stayed.Very nice young people that made all the difference in the world with their input.Rooms were small but had it all and the king size bed was a gem.Bathroom was a wonderful surprise as everything is brand new and it was of big size.Parking ....just forget about it ,but Michali the owner will do his best to help you out.Top marks for hospitality!!

Our small family pension is located in the centre of the village, but in a spot, where there are not bars and stores, which are noisy at nights. It was built in the year 1989 and it is steady maintained and renovated by us. From architectural point of view, it is a traditional building. The distance of our pension from the beach is 50 meters and it is built near the commercial road of the village. All services offered in the village are found in a distance of 200 meters.

Reviewed By Pedja1973Aldebaran is a great little pension in the heart of Potos, 2 minutes from the city beach in the main street of Potos. Very kind owners who helped us with all our questions. Nice simple clean room and bathroom, big balcony, small shared kitchen where you can prepare some simple food, wi-fi and most beautiful gallery and gift shop on all Thassos. Strong recommendation !!!!!!

Really nice outdoor patio area. Convenient parking. Just minutes walk into the village bustle. Alexander was a gracious and helpful host.

Nice, but nothing special
Reviewed By Luka013The three of us have spent our summer holiday here. + The building seems relatively new or at least renovated in the last few years. + The furniture in the rooms is also relatively new + The room was clean and cleaned every third day + It is located 5 minutes on foot from the Potos Beach and 3 minutes from the centre of the town where everyone goes out in the evening. The evening buzz is not a problem for sleeping at night as the villa is just as far away from it as necessary. - Although the evening buzz is not a problem for sleeping, the main road might be. The villa is 10 meters from it and some vehicles or motorcycles can be quite noisy. - It has a ground floor and two other floors. We were at the second floor, the highest floor, and found 3 small lizards in our room. - wifi internet is awful - You are not allowed to throw toilet paper in the toilet but you must throw it in the bin. I know this is practically a standard in Greece but it annoys me very much.
