We visited with both our mums for a jubilee treat. Firstly the room that we thought most accessible was unbelievably hot. Blinds to a passageway so it felt very exposed and no opening window, plus if you did open the blinds there was a skip directly outside, the only other option had no window at all. We felt obliged to take that room and let our mums have rooms with opening windows. Luckily we were asked by a second member of staff if everything was ok and offered a fan which made it bearable. These rooms are expensive at £100 a night and there is no breakfast facilities at all. Dinner was ok but very expensive and ridiculously huge portion of sea bass that I could only eat half of. I would have been happier at 1/2 portion, 3/4 of the price. If you are paying over £20 for a main you might expect a wine list, not just we have a Sauvignon blanc, a Pinot Grigio and a Chardonnay. Pinot was a bit rubbish. There seems very little going on in Wooler, let's hope we can get breakfast somewhere this morning.

A nice wee break

Nice Guest house. Had asked for a quiet room at the back of the house but was given a front facing one. When I went to get it sorted I was told the previous guest had extended their stay. I wasn't best pleased but had no alternative but to accept the room. However two minutes later there was a knock at the door and a staff member called Callum said that he could swap us with someone else who hadn't checked in yet. Callum was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was of an adequate size and the bed was comfortable. Only niggles were the shower had to be quite low to get any hot water/ pressure and the window could do with either the blind being a blackout one or some additional curtains. Cooked breakfast was lovely and fresh and they offered vegetarian/ gluten free options.Good selection of cooked food but would have liked some fruit as an option as I don't do cooked. Overall a good stay at a reasonable price.

Everything about this place was excellent, the bar, the accommodation, the food and not forgetting the wonderful staff who looked after us, namely Bobbi, the 2 Jo's and also the guy who was on the bar when we checked out (sorry I did not get your name). All the team looked like they enjoyed their jobs and are a credit to your company. Will definitely return to the Seaton Lane Inn and we are also looking to try some of your other properties. Triumph under pressure

Reviewed By Kiltednomad

The hotel room was spotless and the bed was comfy. We could hear surprisingly little noise given the festival that was on. Breakfast was great but it was at dinner that I was most impressed. Eden and Oliver in particular worked tirelessly in a mobbed dining room and never let their smiles slip in front of customers. Considering how busy the place was, we didn’t have to wait long for food. My one tiny criticism would be to ask for more blue cheese in my chicken sauce please. Otherwise this place was exemplary!

Wonderful service and experience

Reviewed By Abigail F

Wonderful visits to Beadnell Towers! Food, atmosphere, staff and service all fantastic. We asked for the impossible - a table for 11 on a busy Saturday night with a view of the Champions League Final in a restaurant that wouldn’t usually have the TV on. But Beadnell Towers delivered. We were given a lovely table in an almost private room. The waiting staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The children were made to feel welcome and the experience was very relaxed. Food was great and espresso martinis were perfect! So we obviously returned!! This time a table for 15 with a couple of hours notice. We were asked to preorder which was great because food came quickly and everyone enjoyed it again. Rice pudding is out of this world!! Nothing too much trouble and the best service we experienced during our holiday in Beadnell. Thanks guys, see you again.

All the staff where very friendly and the food was spot on and the eggs at breakfast were possibly the freshest eggs I have had in a long time they must have been from a local farm.the best compliment that we could say about the three horseshoes is that we are definitely going to stay again as we hope to have look around Durham itself in the near future.
