Old Street B & B

We offer a beautiful, grade11 listed property, with a separate guests coach house at rear. Which is Very private and quiet. The coach house consists of 3 en-suite rooms and a wonderful communal lounge for your use and enjoyment. We offer a family room, and 2 double rooms, all of which can be used as singles at reduced rates. The guests dining room is located at the front of the main house, with a very olde English feel to it. Full breakfast options are available and there is 24hr acces to your accommodation. We are very conveniently located just a 1 minute walk from the very centre of upton. Both buildings have recently undergone a full refurbishment and we hope you come and enjoy a wonderful stay with us. Darrell & Rachel.

Exquisite

What a find! The property is expertly run by Darryl who is the perfect host. The rooms are quaint but perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything needed is in the room - together with great wi-fi. The beds are super-comfy. Breakfast is 'to order' the previous evening and cooked freshly for you. Really nothing I can fault here.

Lovely value for money stay

Stayed here one night at the end of May on a bed and breakfast basis. Enjoyed our stay, check in was easy, room very good size and really comfortable with spacious en suite. Ate here the night we arrived, order taken promptly and we were served our food quickly and enjoyed it. Breakfast the following morning was good, as was staff service. Only fault for me was pillows far too soft and I’d bought my own which I was glad for.

I had only been in to the little bar on the right before, one rainy evening a couple of years back, I couldn’t get out fast enough as it was full of some interesting types. Fast forward to this year, found the main part of the hotel, it’s beautiful and the bar and seating areas were lovely and pretty cost effective. Lovely upstairs function room, will be back

I’ve been coming to Malvern for many years and ALWAYS stay here. Their customer service is second to none and the staff cannot do enough to help you. Couldn’t get my usual room this weekend as I’d left it too late to book but Allison managed to accommodate my extra guests when I’d forgotten the blow up bed! They even let us put up decorations for my daughter’s birthday party. Honestly, they cannot do enough for you. The food at the restaurant is top notch. As a vegetarian I usually only get 1 maybe 2 options when dining out but here I had lots of things to choose from. They even made me something that wasn’t even on the menu! Highly recommended.

Fantastic!

We stayed for one night on the 11th February to celebrate my son's birthday. On arrival Charlie was the only member of staff looking after the place, but she was absolutely fantastic. made us feel really welcome, and settled us in very nicely to our rooms and then in the bar area for lunch. Nothing was too much trouble, despite her being rushed off her feet. My son and his partner were in the Shelsley room and my wife and I in the Tedstone. Both rooms were really great, nice and clean, comfortable with fabulous views. Our evening meal was absolutely fantastic, all of us really enjoyed the food very much. Tony looked after us really well, and we had a good laugh with him throughout our stay. As we were the only guest staying that Friday night, we had personal attention at breakfast which was lovely. Our thanks to everyone at The Manor Arms Inn who made our stay so enjoyable, particularly Tony and Charlie, it made our son's birthday really special. We will certainly be back to do some walking along the Worcester Way and won't hesitate to recommend it to others.

On the plus side there's a friendly host. On the downside, the rooms are really dated and tired. You can easily hear voices, TV and toilet flushing from other rooms. Their dog woke me up barking at 11pm and 7.15am. I chose it for price so lesson learnt!
