Reviewed By 226anja_I dont think i have meet more kind and sweet people. The staff is so helpfull, so kind and would do anything for you. They have helped us so much, did approximatly 10 calls for us, because we didnt know where to get some informations, organised us a drive to port and booked us speed boat to Koh Tao. We rented a scooter from them and got flat tire and they didnt complicated at all and said that it is okay and that they will fix it. If i will ever come to Kho Samui again, I will for sure go back to Palm Coco Mantra.

Secluded excellent hotel
Reviewed By judy_pollyMy husband & I stayed here for a 3 night break on a trip to Koh samui. The accommodation was huge (2 bedrooms) with sliding doors into a shared bathroom. Kitchen\dining area\lounge with ample space. Terraced seating area with easy access to the pool. The accommodation was clean & airy. Piyathida Sonprasom on front desk went above and beyond her duty to accommodate us, even dropping us to a bar to meet my husbands brother (surprise visit) as we were not familiar with lamai. Would definitely recommend this little hideaway & would return if returning to Koh Samui.

Lamai Bay View Resort is a 3 star family hotel consisting of 26 bungalows, a restaurant and a swimming pool in a tropical garden slopping down to the beach. Each bungalow has a large balcony with stunning views of Lamai Bay and the surrounding mountains. Lamai Bay View Resort has it's own private beach with fine white sand. The hotel is conveniently located between Lamai and Chaweng towns in a quiet area.

Reviewed By daines51Booked a beach front bungalow and although not fronting the beach it is fairly close and has a very nice view over the bay. It is a walk up steep steps and then down steep steps to get to the small beach area. This area is good for swimming most of the day but there are some small rocks , which can be avoided. In front of my bugalow is a entry to a tiny beach area but is pretty good for swimming. The rooms are a little tired but, of course, income has been badly affected by the last 2 years. The aircon worked well, hot water via an electric water heater. My room had Netflix. A good size balcony with chairs. Some of the electric outlets were loose on the walls. Due to storms there was a power outage for a few hours on one day. The breakfasts were excellent. Other food was very good, if a little above eating places in the town. The pool isn't big enough for swimming but a good size for kids. Pool towels are provided. The resort is amongst vegetation so you will need mosquito spray when sitting outside. Also, the pond has bull frogs which are loud from 6pm to 6am so ask for a bungalow away from the pool. taxis can be booked at reception and you pay for this at reception. Very good massage two mins walk up the road. Resort staff are very nice and most helpful. Reasonable room rates and so, on a personal level I can recommend. Just do not expect 5 star.

Reviewed By JohnP3840Booked for 7 nights but had to leave after first night to fly home due to covid-19 but found the Hotel good with friendly reception on arrival checking into the room and then giving a short tour of the grounds,rooms a bit dated but access to beach and on beach Resturant and barwas excellent,pool was in a open area but seemed ok.Only got to use bar and Resturant before having to leave in a hurry in morning but i will return and finish holiday ASAP........

Reviewed By Elomie1Villa is spotless, like on the pictures. Bed is very comfortable. Staff is amazing. Shared pool is large enough. Breakfast is a bliss. We stayed 3 weeks in a villa (without pool) and it felt more like a home than a rental villa. We didn‘t like the noise of the busy carwash on the other side of the road. Although you get used to it after a while. A pity that the beach and the sea in Lamai are not clean and can be quite smelly too. We went for a swim once and then preferred the pool.

Reviewed By fraserbracchiWe stayed in this place for 4 nights. The person in charge is very helpful and friendly. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. There is a Sunday night market just right outside the hotel. You can find all sorts of foods and drinks there, which is quite interesting.

Terrible Place - Nice Manager
Reviewed By Charlie PWe arrived here at 5pm after a 36 hour trip to Ko Samui. The Bungalows are basically a bait-and-switch to get people to upgrade to an ฿800 more spacious room. This place is located on the "other" side of the main street in Lamai, so it is FAR away from the beach and dangerous for children to stay here. The Absentee-Owner now lives in Houston, Texas USA so there is no way to appeal a decision and no wiggle room with policy. In the end the manager wouldn't let us stay with our kids even though we had prepaid our Bungalow in advance for two days. The manager was super nice, gave my son a toy and had her brother use his truck to give us a ride to our back-up Bungalow. We ended up staying in a Bungalow that was bigger, on the beach, with hot water, with great Internet in a much better location so I am so glad we moved. The manager was just following her bosses orders, but I would never recommend anybody stay here.
