Guatemala City draws visitors whose interests range from Maya history to contemporary culture. Two museums house Maya artifacts, some of which were discovered on a nearby archaeological site. Other museums exhibit indigenous and modern art. In Mercado Central, an underground market, shoppers bargain with vendors selling local handicrafts. Additional attractions include a botanical garden and a scale replica of the Eiffel Tower. A night out in bustling Zona Viva caps off a day of sightseeing.

Safe, gated community minutes from the airport with a free shuttle most hours, and a small fee after hours for those early/late flights. Super clean and comfortable room, and the breakfast in the garden was a delight (where I and each other guest I saw took many pictures). I tried to save a few Q and stayed at another hotel on my return, which was fine, but Toscana was really by far the superior of the two, and will be my first choice when I return.

Stayed here recently with my husband on a short trip to Guatemala City. The hotel is great: comfortable bed, good water pressure and a clean and welcoming room. The included breakfast was fabulous with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The staff were all very helpful. The location can’t be beat. Very nice and safe neighborhood with lot’s of good restaurants, bars, and shopping within easy walking distance. It is a bit noisy at night due to the location in Zona 10 but that is to be expected and it wasn’t enough to impact our sleeping. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Guatemala City.

Our mission is that you have nice time traveling. We are located in the heart of zone 4 just a few blocks from "4 Grados Norte" (a walking street full of restaurants and bars). And a few minutes from the airport. 5 Private rooms – With two terraces, fully equiped kitchen, laundry and free wifi. We have security 24/7. We include breakfast all you can eat from 8 to 10 AM: our famous banana pancakes. Include coffee, tea, pancakes and season fruits. We have the most competitive price in the market. We also have security camera circuit, city maps and nice atmosphere. Hot water, and common areas so you make new friends. The kitchen is open so you can cook and share meals and save money.
Decent hostel, used it just to be close to the airport. Good wifi and lovely helpful staff. Bizarre clientele and kitchen is pretty grim. Room didn’t feel super secure and the shower room had no windows and felt unclean. Needs some improvement but does the job for proximity to airport for a good price. We had a private room for less than £20.

NOVOHOSTAL B&B Your place to rest in Guatemala is nice, cozy and safe place to stay in Guatemala City. Just ONE MINUTE from La Aurora Internacional Airport, whether you travel for business or pleasure to Guatemala C.A., which makes us your best choice to rest after a long trip.
The location is very close to the airport. You can make arrangements to be picked up or delivered to the airport for an early flight, if needed. When you arrive late, it's easy to get to it. The rooms are nice and well kept. There is a light breakfast available. You can order pizza or sandwiches to be delivered, if you need a supper or lunch. I have stayed numerous times and I'm never disappointed. Wonder people.

Our group was so happy to find the Comfort Hostel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each room has an attached bath and shower. Public areas are cozy and charming, especially the patio where we enjoyed breakfast (included in room) both mornings. Food was excellent, a very typical, hearty Guatemalan breakfast. Secure parking for our driver was a priority and Comfort Hostel was able to accommodate the van in their secure parking garage. However, this garage only had availability for 2 vehicles and garage space was limited. This might be unsuitable for larger vans and transports. Staff was kind and gracious. They met my request for early coffee each morning, helped with bags, loading and unloading the van, and were available around the clock for all requests. Highly recommend this very nice hotel!

Business-oriented boutique hotel operated by a warm and attentive staff to take care of your needs during your stay. The hotel features 16 well-sized rooms smartly decorated with comfortable beds and working area with free Internet access. Newly open restaurant offers good food and great local coffee selection in a relaxed environment. Located in Guatemala City's financial district with quick access to all areas of the city and just ten minutes from the airport.
When we arrived in the room, my friend found a hair in her bed. We were changed room but without balcony The original room had the smallest tv ever. Bedsheets are not ironed, confirmed by staff. 2 wooden hangers, all the others are the metal ones you get free from the dry cleaners. Frames are mirror were dirty. No kettle in the room or available from reception. Soaps are in small sachets (such as ketchup ones). You can hear the noise from outside, so not well insulated. Breakfast is very poor. Coffee tastes like black water, not much to choose from. We were offered coffee OR juice. We don’t eat bananas so asked to have other fruit with the pancakes and were given 2 strawberries instead. The restaurant is located at the entrance outdoor and at breakfast time you eat al fresco- so not a pleasant temperature. The rooms are very spacious and staff very friendly and try to help. We have travelled around Guatemala and for this price, the hotel ( more like an aparthotel ) needs to improve.

We were lucky we stayed there. And first of all - muchas gracias, Magdalena. We had some problems and she did all the best not only to make our stay very pleasant ( It was ), but to solve those problems too. Property itself is perfect for a stay before/after flight. Good breakfast, transfer from/to airport. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, home atmosphere. In addition to it - lovely yard, relaxing place for morning coffee or evening vine.
