The rooms were spotless, only thing lacking for me was a kettle in the room or access to one to make a hot drink after a long day. Breakfast and dinner was delicious, lovely home produce. I am a vegetarian with many food intolerances, which the owners tried so hard to cater for, which was brilliant. Good air conditioning. Wifi was pretty quick and had a good distance on it too. Very good value for money and dinner too was extremely reasonable. Very polite staff too, would definitely use again.

We were warmly welcomed by mister Franco, a very special person. We stayed there for a long period and was like feeling home for the good equipment the b&b offer. We were located on the top floor (3 very steep flights but so worth it!) with access to a terrace which afforded incredible views of the mountains and hillside of Abruzzo. Our bedroom was spotless and the breakfast provisions were ample with fresh pastries delivered each morning by Febo. Both he and his daughter, Francesca were most welcoming and made us feel like family. The property is located just inside the main gate into Guardiagrele and perfectly located to explore both the town and surrounding areas. We are very much looking forward to a return visit to this amazing place. Thank you for having us!

Il B&B Relais del Borgo offre sistemazioni in eleganti camere dotate di bagno privato con doccia, aria condizionata, TV a schermo piatto .e WIFI gratuito in tutta la struttura. Al mattino vi attende una colazione a Buffet all'italiana, resa ancor più dolce con la degustazione di confetture e miele locale e adiacente alla struttura vi aspetta l'antica macelleria/ristorante di Romantino per degustare piatti tipici.

The Bocca di Valle Hotel and Restaurant, which is housed in a building that dates from the end of the 19th century, offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing stay immersed in the natural beauty of the Maiella National Park. The present owners have run the hotel, which has been modernised and extended over the years, since 1950 and the family prides itself on the friendly welcome it offers its guests. The wonderful natural setting is matched by the delicious yet simple cuisine that boasts traditional Italian food as well as dishes that are typical of the Abruzzo region. Situated 650 metres above sea level at the mouth of a lush green valley, the Hotel Bocca di Valle enjoys a tranquil setting and boasts breathtaking panoramic views. It is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday in a friendly atmosphere and the 16 comfortable rooms all have en-suite bathroom, telephone, TV and small terrace. At breakfast, the hotel offers guests a rich breakfast with delicious, traditional cakes from the Abruzzo region (such as "pizzelle", jam tarts made using locally produced jams and homemade cakes), all ably prepared by our chef.
A warm welcome and a delicious lunch
Reviewed By EdinburghFlaneurAfter getting very wet on a rainy day walk to the San Giovanni waterfall, we asked at the Albergo Bocca di Valle about getting some soup for lunch. We were welcomed with cries of "bravissimo!" for having visited the waterfall in the pouring rain, a heater placed next to our table, and a hair drier to borrow! We then had a superb lunch of wild boar ravioli with sage butter. It was one of those unplanned moments that really made our holiday. Grazie mille!
