Reviewed By lillymaexoWe had a short stay in Creel before taking the Chepe Express so stayed here for two nights. Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are nicely decorated and the vibe of the hotel is really nice. It drops cold at night so lots of blankets on the bed was beneficial and we also had a heater that we could use if necessary. Hot water in the showers was consistent and toiletries (shampoo and soap) and towels were provided. There’s a cafe on the ground floor, two floors of rooms and both have communal areas, plus a balcony area with a washing line which is super convenient. The owner is so lovely; he was super welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much of an ask. Very well located, only a 2 minute (if that) walk from both the bus station and the main street. Could not ask for more out of a hotel. Would absolutely recommend staying here if in Creel.

Lovely Hotel
Reviewed By MichialaC1Lovely bright and airy hotel with colourful rooms. Beds were comfortable too. Courtyard was pretty with a little fountain and added extra of a lovely husky lying about basking in the sun. Food was tasty and affordable however options a little limited. Overall basic but charming hotel. 700 pesos for a room with 2 doubles and transport to el chepe included. Tours offered. Did a lovely walk into a pine forest to a waterfall ~2/3 hours 100 pesos per person for a guide.

Huge hassle
Reviewed By Abnormel DI booked three nights through booking.com. The hotel messaged me and wanted to change rooms each night, then said they may be awhile greeting us as they were busy in the back even though they knew what time we were arriving, then said they couldn’t accommodate us. They charged my credit card anyway. Booking.com was great and is refunding the money. What a hassle

Reviewed By BibliokosNice place to stay while visiting the area. Pricing is great and the extra services they offer make staying there a no-brainer. Super-friendly family-run lodging. The room was clean and water was hot. They serve breakfast (included) as well as lunch and dinner for $120 pesos ($6 dollars). The breakfast is either ham, chorizo or machaca (a regional preparation you could say is shredded beef jerky) scrambled into eggs and served with beans and corn tortillas. I had both the machaca and chorizowheilI was here and both were delicious. because I know what the 'ham' is in this area... I would recommend you not order that. :) The dinner was delicious. There is no menu, it's just what was cooked that day.... a meat dish of some sort with rice and beans. Simple but tasty. The family is the best part... they will, for a very small fee, pretty much anywhere you wantc to go locally. We went to the adventure park at Copper Canyon and did the ziplines and sky tram. When finished we called to be picked up and they were there in 10 minutes. We took their tour to see some of the local vista points and visit a Raramuri shaman that lives in a cave overlooking the canyon. She was an amazing woman, humble and warm. I found myself envying the simplicity and quality of life she has, albeit perhaps not the most comfortable compared to most. We also did the Raramuri Experience one day and went into one of their communities and learned to grind and make fresh ground corn tortillas which we ate with a particular variety of bean that they grow and eat in the region and dranks some delicious anti-viral tea that they make with herbs, barks, berries, etc that they forage for in the woods. After we were very full... the Raramuri woman showed up how to make bracelets from long pine needles. That was a highlight of my trip along with the horseback riding up the mountain in Creel. (See: Creel Paseos A Caballo Vaquero here on Trip Advisor for this tour) The Raramuri Experience can be booked by calling them or having the people who run the motel call for you. We called the day before to visit the next morning. The guy at the motel will drive you there and either stay, as he did with us... or come back and pick you up. Highly recommend!!!

Buen estilo, las habitaciones cómodas y con todos los servicios. El restaurante con desayunos con un buen sabor.

Dirty, smelly motel.
Reviewed By George NVery bad experience. Dirty, smelly, dirty sheets, frogs and crickets inside room. No heating or air conditioning. Far away from shops and stores. Restaurant was not very good. So called buffet was terrible.

Reviewed By FloexxLugar limpio, cumple con indicado en descripciones en relación a habitación. Destaco disponibilidad de agua fría y caliente, así como té y café de uso libre en área común. Me resultó incómoda la cama. El lugar carece de personal. Existe puerta con pequeño letrero y se entregan las llaves de habitación junto con una copia de la llave de la puerta al arribar (requerí llamar por teléfono al llegar para que me entregaran las llaves). Como no hay personal en el sitio, se visibiliza el riesgo de que algún pasajero deje la puerta abierta y/o sin llave, dando acceso libre a Hostal y a habitaciones, ya que existe copia de las llaves de todas las habitaciones en recepción.

Reviewed By Florencia BLas cabañas son muy cómodas y están muy bien ubicadas para visitar el parque aventuras de Barrancas del Cobre. Además, los dueños son muy atentos y amables y ofrecen servicios de taxi para visitar las diferentes atracciones. Totalmente recomendable!

Over priced noisey hotel with issues
Reviewed By EarthwalkingMexicanThis hotel is very disappointing in many ways. It is not a "Spa" hotel, it does not have a spa. It has a pool but no treatments like massages etc which a spa would have. The hotel advertises as having sound proofed rooms but it does not as mentioned by other guest reviews. There are gaps under the doors ( see photos) and around the windows so you can hear roosters all night outside, people partying around the pool area ananging up outside every room! ( See photo) The music is turned on from 8.30 am to 10pm every day. You can not relax in your room or hear your TV. 20 speakers playing loud music is not relaxing. The hotel should only have music in the restaurant and reception area not in the guest sleeping areas. This place should be perfect for the expensive price but it isn't. We were told we had the best suite in the hotel but no closet in the rooms for clothes. No shelves in the bathroom to put shampoo etc. Curtains are very thin so this allows light in to the room from the hotel lights. Furniture is cheaply made and definitely not "boutique". Tiles are stained in the shower. Much better and cheaper hotels closer to town.
