There are many comfy chairs and hammocks to relax. Rooms are comfortable, modern, very clean and equipped with 24 hours running hot and cold water. The beach is just a few meters away. You can enjoy sunrise from lake facing rooms or can sit down next to the lake to enjoy sunrise with birds chirping. Go fishing or take a boat ride, we will be happy to arrange for you. In the evening, take a boat ride to have a close look at Chinese fishing net and chat with local fishermen. Or hire a two-wheeler or bi-cycle and ride along sea shore.

Clean, comfortable, serene rooms set in a garden facing the lake. Shari, Sharath and their family managed to give us a balance of a resort & home experience.Extremely professional hosts & impeccable service. Our pet enjoyed the stay as much as we did. With a beautiful beach less than 0.5kms the location was perfect. With great food (fresh seafood), great conversations, the host's little girl Minnu showing us how to catch fish on a hook..the week was very relaxed and enjoyable.

Sea Front Resort
Reviewed By Sree kThere are only eight rooms in the resort. Two Rooms in the main area of the resort alone is sea facing.. We booked the resort with an intention to stay in the sea facing rooms. We were allotted with the rooms in the heritage wing is not sea facing. The same is like a normal room with a small garden in front. If you climb few steps, you will be able to face the sea.. That area is a private space for these 6 six rooms and dining is provided in that area. Food is ok.. You have only limted choices for dinner. Break fast was also ok.. The break fast is arranged in the main building. There is an infinity pool in the resort. But the resort is not maintained properly. The staffs are friendly. But they don't have any professionalism in their attitude and all. Its not a beach side resort.. You can just sit and view the sea from the restaurant and the dining area of the hotel or from the two sea facing rooms

Our beach resort is also within walking distance of other restaurants and shops. This is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all “ once you come you won't want to leave. Perfect for honeymooners and for romantic stays.It is in a separate compound with 5 tastefully decorated Kerala heritage rooms. lots of common area and a sea facing multi-cuisine restaurant. Swimming pool facility and common area's can be used in 36 Palms compound.

Reviewed By charmyk2017Its a small resort but the rooms are very neat and the stay was comfortable. Especially the bathrooms are tiled and maintained well. Complimentary Kerala breakfast which was really good (Puttu & kadlai curry). Friendly staff.

Reviewed By Anila MCherai beach palace made our dream of a safe family get together true in these Covid times. We were a group of 26 people - ranging from 2 year old kid to 80+ old great grandmother. We booked the whole property for 2 nights. Pros: Great location. It is just across the beach. And this part of the beach is not at all busy. So we get a private beach feel. Nice and clean rooms. There are 4 sea view rooms that are really nice. There are 3 wooden rooms which are also nice with a heritage feel. Other than these, there are few basic single rooms which can also be used if there are more people. There is a very nice covered terrace area which we used to gather together and play some games. The cooks cooked the Kerala cuisine pretty well - both veg and non veg. Cons - I must say that they were not 100% prepared. The staff was new and they were not able to always help us quickly/adequately. Food was not always ready on time - With small kids and senior citizens, it was a concern for us. The cooks should up skill themselves beyond Kerala cuisine and also make better tea/coffee. Many of the rooms had AC issues and we had to get it repaired after the first night. But overall, the place and the host is really nice. With better staff, this will be a great choice for a good beach vacation with family/friends!

And the best thing about this place is the people - Dhanesh and Sunesh are very kind and helpful. They can arrange anything you need and help you getting around. Strongly recommend it!

The noise from the traffic is part of the atmosphere and does not start very early (& stops at around 8 pm, week time. Rooms are spotless clean... Hope to be back some time!

Amazing Place!
Reviewed By ManuManu8My friend and I came to Coconut Garden right as the Covid-19 times started to affect Kerala and this family welcomed us with open arms! The rooms we stayed in were very sweet – a double bed, fan, closet and mosquito nets connected to a spacious, bright living room. The whole compound is quite big with coconut and mango trees and lots of space to move around. As India went in lockdown we felt welcomed here – Sudheesh and his brother Suman bought fruits and vegetables for us and made sure we had everything we needed. A highlight of the stay for sure is the food! The breakfast, lunch and basically everything that was served was beyond delicious making me look forward to the next day immediately after finishing it. We ended up staying several weeks, also after the lockdown was less strict and had a great time. Talking, playing games with the kids, celebrating Vishu together, there were many great moments that I like to look back at. Thank you for everything!! ? Ps. The homestay is located super close to the ocean - if you listen closely you will fall asleep to the sound of the waves coming in.
