Reviewed By GlobeTrotting756798We stayed at this hotel with 11 women. The maintenance man Omar, was extremely rude and made our stay unpleasant. He was consistently harassing us and made us feel unwelcome. This unfortunately clouded any good things the hotel offered and overshadowed the rest of the staff. He also entered our room without knocking. This made us feel unsafe.

Weezie's Ocean Front Hotel and Garden Cottages is a boutique hotel with 18 units. There are 13 rooms on the oceanfront property and 5 garden cottages 2 blocks inland. All the units except the standard room have full kitchens. The hotel features 3 pools and long 250 ft pier which is a great spot to enjoy the sun and sea. There are kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, fishing poles and a canoe to use free of charge. The facilities are first rate but what sets Weezie's apart is the full time staff of 12 who are there to make your vacation memorable.

Reviewed By ethanzI could stay in the rooms for a month -- good amount of space, full kitchen, tv with netflix, and STRONG AC made it extremely comfortable. We also took the private snorkel tour with John, which is a MUST DO. John was able to point out so many cool wildlife and facts, and was great company for the full-day trip. Just remember to reapply your (reef safe) sunscreen between every dive or you backs and legs are going to regret it :')

We'Yu Boutique Hotel is located on the North Side of Caye Caulker on the popular and lively Northside Beach. The views are breathtaking and the accommodations are comfortable and stylish! Rooms vary from standard (without kitchen facilities) and to luxury with both single and double rooms available. Access to the property is via free water taxi from the Central Caye Caulker Village to the location. Taxi's run every 20 minutes and the boat ride takes 2 minutes. The Northside Beach Restaurant and Bar is located on the beachfront which is the source of our complimentary breakfasts and indeed many of our customers enjoy their excellent food and drinks during their stay and on their doorstep.

Eden, the receptionist, always answered all our concerns and even booked us a taxi from the airport to the pier in Belice City back and forth. Highly recommend.

(Nice staff except for one young girl who needs some training!!) On-site restaurant and bar has such great staff! (Mama and Jewel went all-out to take care of every guest!) Do have some negatives tho. Construction noise while they are building a pool is very loud all day... even down by the dock. Also, I paid almost $100 for a snorkel trip but got sick the night before and let them know. The staff knew this... but next morning they still refused to give me even a partial refund. It's things like that that people remember!

You Couldn’t Make This Sh*# Up
Reviewed By ZenDark30The only B&B on the island, Yocomatsu is as eclectic as it’s name. Yocomatsu’s name is derived from You Can’t Make This Sh*# Up. A xpat from Florida, the proprietor, Brian is super friendly and helpful. He’s called Caulker his home since the early 2000’s. His exuberance makes this place unique. Our room is as advertised, cozy and comfortable. Eating Luis’s breakfast on the third floor veranda overlooking the sea is the best. The island is narrow enough that you can see both the leeward and windward sides at the same time. Travels tip: check out the ray feeding at dusk. It’s a 2 minute walk from the room.

We always remember our stay at Blue Wave with nostalgy and tenderness so were more than happy to get a room here again, especially as it was Easter time and we had no booking. This time, again, it was perfect. The hotel is situated on the main street of Caye Caulker with a seaview and an access to a private pier that we took advantage of. It is close to restaurants, supermarkets and snorkelling tours agencies. The room was comfortable, nice and clean, it was quiet, though on the main street , we didn’t mind a shared bathroom. There is no air conditioning, only a fan. There is an open kitchen with all the utensils if you want to make some food. Or drink some rum ;) There are also a few hammocks. The owner was kind and hospitable and the price ok, we pay 60BZ per night.
