Reviewed By JkthakorWe stayed for one night and it was nightmare for us. First of all toilet flush was not working, after room got changed and in new room water in bathroom was not coming and got fixed after 2 complaints. Overall experience was average. Staff behavior was good.

First of all they do not have F&B service available on their premises you have to even struggle for hot water to drink forget tea and coffee. The staff is highly unprofessional out there they enter your room when you are out for site seeing without any purpose. Now coming to most horrific, illiterate, unprofessional person in the hotel that is Mr. Abhijeet Dae. I clearly intimated him on extention of my stay and informed him that I will confirm in the morning about the same. This idiot went on taking another booking without informing me and literally asked me to get out of the hotel. If you are planning to book a place here think thousand times before doing it.

City Guest House is Bhuj's best budget hotel. It's located near the main bazaar and just a short walk from the top sites. The hotel is clean and cheap with decent sized rooms, and wi-fi and breakfast are available. The helpful staff can provide excellent information and book buses, bikes, trains, rickshaws and tours.

Relaxed and comfortable
Reviewed By babujacobIt has been over almost 50 days since we left the Royal Guest House, Bhuj. We have stayed there on 2020 Feb 9th night, on our way to Dhordo Rann Utsav Tent City. What Should I say about our experience? We were allowed to check in early by 9:30 am. We were accommodated in the 1st floor room 101. The room was enough for a couple with twin beds, AC, TV, and it was clean with washed linen. The bathroom had hot water, towel and basic toiletries. It was in Waniawad school road. Both sides of the narrow road infront of the guest house were lined with fruits and vegetable carts. Different names and varities of fruits and vegetables were available. A little walk out to the main road, where one gets hired vehicles. We visited the Swaminarayan Temple, Kutch Museum, Aina Mahal, the Bhujodi village where they produced handicrafted textiles, and the LLDC where they had a very good collection of Kutchi traditional textiles and artifacts. The handicrafts were unique pieces. If at all one did not buy a thing, its ok, get into their cafeteria and laze with a hot cofee. We returned to the Royal Guest house for dinner and sleep. The food was brought from another kitchen outside the guest house. It was very tasty. They provided complimentary breakfast also. We checked out on 10th Feb early morning. We reached Bhuj from Trivandrum on the way to Dhordo. We looked for an economy guest house for a day/night. We found it in TripAdvisor. We got a home away from home. The guest house was owned by the the Mistry Brothers: Sherief Bhai and Iqbal Bhai. Their children help for housekeeping, and the guests with their baggages. The young man Adil, the son of one of the owners, who carried our baggage was a college-going student. Even their pantry is not out of bound for the guests. In conclusion we can say that our stay at the Royal Guest house was a memorable one. It was pleasant, value for money and it still left a smile on our face. By the way, they have comfortable dormitories too for the solo travellers.

Nice and economical Stay in bhuj

I must stay it was very nice stay..rooms were clean, bathrooms had plenty of hot water, bed linen was also good. Moreover, behaviour of counter staff Mr. Vinod ji and Mr.Yogendra ji was excellent. They not only upgraded my room to Sup. Delux but gracefully allowed for a 5hr early check in. I must say it is a very nicely maintained property at the heart of city with all amenities around. I shall remember their behaviour. You will not get this at this price.

Reviewed By munjaluThis hotel owner is fraud. I have booked through phone call. On reaching to the hotel they surprise me by telling me "we do not have any room available, please talk to manager". I left the place booked another hotel and started my trip. A new surprise came to me when I asked manager to refund money. As per the manager he will refund money after talking to owner. by the time I left kutch. And they did not refund money yet. I can't believe such a guy owning hotel can do fraud for some thousands. Actually problem was not for money, Its very risky to not have a room when you are with family. these cheap hotel owners do over-bookings.
