Safety measures were followed very nicely...rooms are spacious and very clean, Ambiance is nice surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna. Beach is just few minutes away from the hotel and that's the cherry on top!! Over all a very good experience a must visit place!!

Reviewed By Escape14637986608The location was perfect. Lovely bar/restaurant overlooking the beach. Straight down the slope or steps onto the beach. Friendly staff. Our rooms were quite basic but adequate. I would stay here again and recommend it. Good menu variation.

Our homestay is situated in a typical Goan village about 3.5 km away from the beach and Margao. The simple yet comfortable and nice rooms are overlooking a field and are only 5 steps away from our main house where the breakfast is served.
Superb homestay experience
Reviewed By amitsdesaiHad a great experience at Simply Homestay at Benaulim Goa. True to its name, i.e. Homestay, we really felt like a home staying here. Charlie is a great host with his various travel related and other stories. Charlie took very good care of us and made us really comfortable. The Homestay has really good clean rooms with attached baths. On the backside there are paddy fields - and it is a great feeling to have your morning tea or coffee sitting on the backside of the rooms watching birds like Egret and Ibis. There is also a Kingfisher that one gets to see from time to time. Shanti the dog and the three cats make the experience complete. We highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a real homestay experience in Goa. Thank you Charlie for being a wonderful host and giving us this beautiful homestay experience. We will always cherish it.

There are basic amenities given by the room owner which is suffice for budget travelers. This homestay is 1 minute away from the beach at a walkable distance. A lot of restaurants are there nearby where you have a lot of choice to go.

Reviewed By tobyHertfordshireSomebody recommended for us to eat at this restaurant. As we wouldn’t have found it otherwise. It’s of the Benaulim beach road along a track sandy path. Past the football pitch. Busy restaurant as I think all the guests stay here to eat. Was originally sitting outside but I was getting bitten so when a table became vacant we moved inside. We had soup to start. I then had a chicken breast burger which was very tasty and my husband had the baberque chicken. Service was ok considering it was really busy I think it was just the mother and daughter attending the tables. Would definitely go back. Pleasant evening.

People can be seen using the washroom or even BATHING.Once complained about the same the Owners told “ Only the head can be seen” It is highly unsafe. The owners are extremely RUDE when you try to explain anything to them. They held up our government Id's for more than 14 hours and refused to give it back if we did not pay them an amount, although we only couldn't stay for more than a night. They are very Unhelpfull and rude, also do not care for customers. They made us wait for 3 hours in the balcony outside their house for our ids and did not let us get ahead with the day or leave the property. And accused us for plotting it instead of being apologetic
