Top 10 Bed and Breakfast Inns in Bath, United Kingdom

April 24, 2023 Kiesha Cripe

Known for its restorative wonders, Bath was once the home of Jane Austen. Sure, you could attempt to conjure up this elegant city by reading Pride and Prejudice in your tub, but as Bath has a lot more history than your bathroom (we assume, anyway) you'd be missing out. A stroll through Bath is like visiting an open-air museum, with roughly 5,000 buildings in the city drawing notice for their architectural merit. After your stroll, soak in the natural hot waters of the Thermae Bath Spa, once a favorite of the Celts and Romans.

Trip to Bath

In a very good position short walk to the few Bath attractions. Room although advertised as small basement room description should have been very small with a tiny shower room and saniflo toilet so not connected to the mains . Grounds thank heavens were nice to sit out in with nice weather, we didn't have breakfast so can not comment. The price for 3 nights stay a little excessive, apart from its position to town we would not have booked this in hine sight, the owners were friendly enough.

Fantastic Stay

We visited for 2 nights in June, Brookes is in a great location with the town centre no more that about 5 to 10 mins walk, the Royal Crescent is just a 2 minute walk away. Parking is limited but there was a spare permit when we arrived so managed to park about 30 seconds away on Marlborough street. We had a fantastic stay, all staff were super polite and attentive, the breakfast in the morning was to a high standard with plenty of options to choose from. The bed was comfy and the room was spotlessly clean, all in all we had a fantastic 2 nights and would happily recommend staying here if visiting Bath.
