It was the product of a long cherished dream, it was built with bales of wheat straw as walls, making thick walls that reach to the ceiling in order to keep cool during the summer and warm in winter, it doesn't need air conditioning or heating, the plaster is made from natural materials, lime and sand, so it is an ecological and self-sustaining building, the exterior garden is made with volcanic rock and have endemic plants that require very little water. We use solar energy as power source and we use only biodegradable products for laundry and kitchen.
