What a fantastic day we had today on the beach in one of Steve’s beach huts!! After enquiring about a hut yesterday Steve couldn’t have been more helpful letting us leave all the children’s toys, buckets, spades & paddling pools in the hut to save us bringing it all down today which with two small children & a buggy really helped!! He also let our little boy use buckets & spades which Steve provided & offered tea & coffee for our beach hut also, such a lovely man we really enjoyed our day thank you will be back next year!!!

Adjacent to Camber Sands is that beach's apparently quieter neighbour, Broomhill Sands. Whilst Camber Sands has the cafes and the amusements, the only apparent amusement at Broomhill Sands is the very interesting garden (not accessible but can be viewed) at Seascape, one of the beachside properties. You also know when you have arrived at Broomhill Sands because there are two very distinctive notices; one telling you that you are leaving the lifeguard supervised area at Camber Sands and the other pointing the way in which dogs must be taken in the months from the beginning of May until the end of September [in that period dogs are not allowed on Camber Sands whilst, on Broomhill Sands, they are allowed all the year round.] You will also find Broomhill Sands is a totally different beach. Whilst Camber has the flat sands, Broomhill has shingle with groynes which, whilst not as easy to walk on, can be much more interesting to look at. Parking is available at Camber Sands or further along the Lydd Road at Broomhill Sands itself.

Looking for quiet beach walk, wonderful views, sandy beach, wide walk paths open space, green meadow, room for dogs to run, shells for carpet to walk on and lastly relaxing deep sea air to breath in. I think I've painted the pictures. Don't tell everyone.. We will be back..

This beach is wonderful all year round but during the summer season it is especially interesting. There are activities for younger children, for example, bouncy castles, swingboats, a vintage roundabout and Punch and Judy Show. There is also a watersports school offering surfing, stand-up paddling and kayaking for older children and adults. There are lots of cafes on the beach and around the promenade. It is a really traditional English seaside resort - quaint, charming and very photogenic!

Lovely beach with lots of sand and tucked away from the hoards. Beautiful spot on a midweek sunny September day. Very picturesque. Definitely worth visiting.

we visited Folkestone beach it’s a lovely beach with crystal clear waters and they have cafe and ice cream shop close at beach ???? and paddle board hire directly next to it. The raised walk way runs along the end of the beach with stairs leading to the east cliff, built under the walkway is a series of quirky tunnels that if your get there early enough to claim one, offer the ideal shade out the sun. The beach further down one end is covered in rocks and at low tide is perfect for rock pool and crabbing.

Just round the corner from Viking Bay (the main beach at Broadstairs) is the lovely Stone Bay. There's a promenade from Viking Bay to Stone Bay som its accessible for both pushchair and wheelchair users. Sone Bay, with its long stretches of sand, is a great beach for familys and for taking a walk on. At this time of the year it's also dog friendly because you can take your dog onto the beach at any time but, from May to September, dogs are not allowed on the beach between the hours of 10.00 am and 6.00 pm.

We parked at the far end of the Martello car park - take change as it costs more with the ap. We launched our kayak from the beach and paddled round the bay. Great for kayaking, very clean beach, great for a beach day or a romantic evening walk.
