Top 10 Bar food in Wroclaw, Lower Silesia Province, Poland

July 17, 2020 Veronika Gaddis

Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Wroclaw. Surprisingly (except to Poles) pronounced VRAHTS-wahv, Wroclaw is Poland’s fourth-largest city and the capital of the Viovodship of Lower Silesia. Originally (in medieval times) built across several islands, the city still has many lovely bridges and beautiful architecture. Not far from the German border in the country’s southeast, Wroclaw gets lots of German tourists, who call it Breslau. The Rynek (central square), lined by colorful buildings, is one of the city’s most popular destinations.

We visited Mleczarnia on our last holiday to Wrocław were we had a great time and so on our latest visit to this most beautiful of cities we payed a return visit and it was just as good if not better. The interior is superb, vintage decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar gives this place a cosy look and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the beautiful White Stork Synagogue ,it really is a superb bar. We were here on a bitter cold Friday night, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, we decided to have some flavoured vodka's to warm us up and we both opted to have a cherry vodka which was absolutely delicious, we then got a great pilsner style beer each which was served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in the stunning location. The beer served here is spot on, it was just so good enjoying a quality brew in such a fantastic bar. Before we moved on we had one more flavoured vodka and went for a hazelnut vodka, again one absolutely fantastic vodka and the perfect end to our visit here.Mleczarnia is easy to locate on Pawla Wlodkowica, it's in the courtyard were you will find The White Stork Synagogue .Opening hours are;Monday to Sunday, 8am till 4am. A great bar, well worth checking out if your in the area.

Two choices of buns, one gluten free, endless burger options.Food was served quickly and tasted fresh and full of flavour.Food and drink prices more than reasonable.I would be happy to eat here again.

Visited this pub/restaurant to meet family/ friends and wow - what a lovely place to eat or just sit, have a glass of wine and watch the world go by. This is a super place, it is a little pricey in comparison to other places around there but it is well worth the visit. The food was fabulous with a fairly extensive menu to suit all tastes. We then sat and had a glass of wine and a craft beer made by this bar itself. All we had was just fabulous. The young waiter was superb with an extensive knowledge of all on offer both food and wine and made excellent recommendations. We sat and watched the world go by which was educational. Only drawback to this was a 'strip club' located very close which we saw was putting pressure on passing gentlemen to enter, we were wondering what the attraction was for all the hordes of men entering and were honestly informed by the staff. However, this has nothing to do with this beautiful restaurant/bar and is simply located very close by. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and would highly recommend.

I came across this again on the Internet and having never been in a proper Jazz Club that I can remember I was anxious to see how this would work out. After our meal we headed to the club which was located just off market square on Ul Kaciarska 4. On entering at ground level you have to go down a flight of stairs and you arrive in this huge room – I suppose there were at least 150 people there – and there was a Jazz band playing with the guy singing and he was brilliant. We were lucky to get a couple of seats and we settled down for a couple of hours of really fantastic Jazz entertainment. We had a few drinks and some desserts and the evening flew by. It was obvious that most of the people there were big fans as you could hear a lot of them humming along to the songs. Overall this was a great evening and well worth checking out before travelling to see what’s on. There was no entrance fee and the drink prices were similar to elsewhere.Thank you very much for a review!

We were recommended this restaurant by a few people and looking at reviews we admittedly had high expectations. The food was good. Not bad but not amazing. The menu was also missing a few dishes. The service was why we were unhappy. We had a member of our party who had dietary requirements. Our waitress said there is nothing to eat for her( member). Great help. No improvisations or a chat to the chef or cooks. The waitress only went to the chef when we said “Are you sure”. If it was a joke, we all missed it. The second issue was when we finished our mains and wanted the desert menus our waitress said the kitchen is closed. Fair enough, however a warning of the closure would have been nice. We asked again nicely if we could have ice for the kids, ice cream. Nope kitchen is closed. We have eaten out alot around Wroclaw and Poland and this is a miss.

Browar Stu Mostow - Pub

On our last holiday to Wrocław we took the short tram ride from the Historic Old Town to Browar Stu Mostow were we enjoyed some amazing beers in this amazing brewery and on our latest holiday to this most beautiful of cities we couldn't wait our return and our visit was even better than our first visit. This is a full on working brewery with a great brewpub upstairs, walking in and you know your in a special place.I love the look of this brewery, huge brew vats producing a great range of beers, upstairs in the brewpub there's a cool looking serving bar, nice decor and furnishings including beer posters and enamels adorning the walls and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewery both inside and outside, it's just one cool brewery and brewpub. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Monday afternoon, we got seats upstairs were a very pleasant member of staff gave us a menu each ,we decided to have a soup as a starter,a plate of cannelloni as our main meal and a taster set each of 4 beers. Our beers arrived in no time at all ,I chose a double IPA, pils, porter and a lager style beer ,all my beers were absolutely fantastic, the porter was probably my favourite, a rich, malty beer made to savour ,a really fabulous brew but all my beers were good,as for the food that accompanied our beers ,it was first rate ,the soup was really good, very tasty and our main meal was beautifully prepared and very filling indeed and coupled with our delicious beers made for a great drinking and dining experience. We moved on after our delicious meal and beers and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Browar Stu Mostow is relatively easy to locate,it's not in the touristic part of the city but a short tram ride ( tram number 11 or 23 ) down to stop Most Warszawski were you walk to Ul Aleja Marcina Kromera then turn left onto Ul Galla Anonima ,walk down this street and turn right onto Ul Jana Długosza were you will find the brewery and brewpub. Opening hours are;Monday to Wednesday,Midday till Midnight. Thursday & Friday, Midday till 1am. Saturday, 2pm till 1am. Sunday, 2pm till Midnight. A wonderful brewery and brewpub and most definitely worth the short tram ride to sample the best beers currently being brewed in Wrocław.

Charming, unblievably good avalue, great feel/vibe.We got to Wroclaw mid afternoon and went straight here (based on reviews) for some cheap eats and a quick beer. We ended up back here at the end of the night to drink some more!At time of writing, current exchange rates, all drinks (300ml beer/vodka shot/coffee/soft drink/hot fruit tea) are about 90p. Outrageous value. The beer is a Polish brand, is 5.5% and tastes great. The vodka is smooth, not cheap lighter fluid rubbish. Coffee also fine.'Snacks' are about £1.40. They aren't just 2 mouthfuls though, they're proper lunch sized. Easily £10 or £12 worth in most other European cities. Perfectly tasty too. They just hit the spot.Upstairs or downstairs, squeeze past the other customers, toilet in the basement perfectly clean. Service fine - not special but fine. Just a great cheap, uniquely decorated fun but relaxed place. Very popular for a reason!

This was a fantastic craft beer bar we visited on our last holiday to Wrocław were we enjoyed some great craft beers and so it proved on our latest holiday to this most beautiful of cities. I love the look of this bar ,vaulted ceilings,a great lighting system, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar, beers on offer are displayed on boards by the side of the bar of which there are 18 on tap ( I think ) served by very pleasant members of staff who are genuinely pleased to see you in their bar. We were here on a Thursday night, this bar was packed with a great atmosphere, we got a nice seat near the bar were after a quick study of the beers on offer I opted to have Nokota APA while my brother went for Grodziskie pils both these beers were served in excellent condition, we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. My APA was outstandingly tasty ,a really malty, hoppy brew bursting with flavour, very easy to drink, a beer style I really enjoy, while sipping our beers we more or less decided what our next beer would be and we went for a classic stout beer namely Tres Brewery oatmeal stout, this was a very strong brew but it was also totally delicious, a well crafted stout, certainly not a beer to rush but to savour but being in such a wonderful bar and enjoying such a quality brew why would you want to rush anything. We really enjoyed our beers in here ,between my brother and I we sampled three great beer styles before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Kontynuacja is easy to locate on Ul Ofiar Oswiecimskich in an area with some very good pubs and bars close by.Opening hours are;Monday to Wednesday, 2pm till 1am. Thursday to Saturday, 2pm till 2am. Sunday, 2pm till 1am. A great craft beer bar, well worth checking out if your in the area.
