A blissful culinary experience in Bangalore .Iskon Bangalore is known world over not only for spreading Krishna Conscience but is also very famous for culinary skills of highest order in vegetarian food , exhibited over the years through their resturant situated in the ISKON temple premisesThey are also very famous for proving through a trust called Akshya Patra noon meals of high quality for several 1000 school children free of cost over many years .With experience gained in running a fine dining restuarant two ardent disciples of SrilaPrabhupadaThe founder of Iskon namely Arvind Chouhary and Aditya Fatepuri wished yo carry the satvic culinary delights of Iskon to the General public closer to their home and the soon SATVAM resturant was born in Malleshwaram in an ideal setting .Another resturant in JP nagar followed and the 3rd one is soon to open in Whitefield .I had the delightful experience of having a service lunch of the highest order along with my family members .The buffet lunch was a very huge spreads covering soup salad Chats a number of fantastic starters, fresh juice ,butter milk North breads like Nan Roti rice Briyani with many accompaniments like Rajma Dhal tadka planner butter Masala Bhindhi masala Potatato curry veg kurma curd rice and many more to satisfy anyone who is a guest to this service place .Italian Pasta pizza lasagna completed the menu .The sweets & desert like stone fruits & icecreams on offer is unimaginable and is sure to satiate any one .True to say this is a very unique restaurant that serves the best Vegetarian food at an affordable cost for 3 came to about Rs 2200.Their Sr chef Deepu from Bengal heads this Fine dining sathivic restuarant and he enjoys turning out fine food day in and day out and considers his work as service to Lord Krishna himself .The divine grace shows in the quality and taste of food served here .The resturant has earned a great reputation and is patronized by many NRI'S visiting Bangalore and service is strictly through advance booking due to heavy demand .A must visit resturant for not local people not aware of this restuarant but any traveler visiting Bangalore to enjoy a fine food.

Great choice (maybe the best) for a Japanese food in Bengaluru. Very diverse menu. We tried the Kaiseki, excellent multi-course experience, with 6 to 8 portions of different Japanese meals, including of course high quality sushi and sashimi, but also tempura, rolls, plus other great taste food! Revisited after 2 years and found the same charming ambience and service and delectable food.We tried tbe non vegetarian set.thali with a nice hot chicken curry, a.mutton curry, vegetable stew and many accompanying items. Layered parathas, the super soft appams, plain rice with sambar and curd, and the local bhesi bele bhaath.The vegetarian thali was similar with different vegetable substitute for the chicken and mutton. It's very nice ambience and pool side really makes it stand apart. On same note food menu is very limited. After seeing this place listed in all the websites for Sunday bruch and we wanted to eat Asian food,decided to try it.First of all the place is dead,service is very slow and looked like no assigned waiter per table,all the waiters were serving everyone.For vegetarian,food choices are not great and after paying Rs. 2700 pp ( with taxes) not up to the par quality and variety wise.Starters were brought to the table,average tastewise,best thing was boiled and roasted corn.For Main course ,we had to choose one gravy and one noodles or rice from 2 optins.Food was un edible,we had to leave everything.We will always remember this place as one of the worst meal of our life !

The dining experience at the restaurant inside the beautiful hotel was fabulous. The variety of foods offered at their buffet for breakfast and dinner was a gastronomic delight. The staff was superb. The matre'de, the servers, the chefs and everyone that was on staff made sure that we were satisfied. I strongly recommend that My Place Resturant be on everyone's itinerary.
