Back after more than four years and despite a new chef the food is as excellent as ever.We started with small appetizers which were in fact quite large. A big masala jumbo prawn which was very juicy. A whole soft shell crab, very crispy. And a mini dosa stuffed with crab.Quite full we enjoyed the lightness of a crab and coconut soup with some candied ginger. A must try.Then the main was an assortment of a spicy prawn curry served with Appam, a scallop moilee with Malabar parathas (served burning hot) and a wonderful local sea bass cooked in a banana leaf, perfectly served but quite spicy.As it is the season we ended this beautiful lunch with a mango trilogy. A cheese cake, a tart and a wonderful home made ice cream.Service was discreet and excellent.A good choice of wines and spirit which is a challenge in Kerala.

This friendly restaurant surprised us by the quality of its food.We ate principally seafood and the prawns particularly were excellent with just the right spiciness.The service was good and the costs moderate for food of this standard.In an area not swamped by good restaurants, this place is really worth a visit.

It's not too often we return to a restaurant on our travels, unless it's really justified and here we visited 3 times. We tried different dishes each time and all of them were do delicious. Really good service, very friendly staff and good value for money. I'd definitely recommend this place and possibly all of their dishes ha.

My wife and I celebrated the birthday of my classmate of some 54 years ago, entirely by chance by having a buffet lunch at this restaurant. I decided on this venue because of our stay at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel, Kochi (which houses this restaurant), but I was not disappointed.They served an entire spread of Kerala authentic cuisine as well as a wide variety of starters, main courses from across both Western and Oriental styles. We delighted in the extra care the staff took to looking after the 3 of us, given it was my classmate's birthday, and the cosy, comfortable and private 'corner' assigned to us meant that we could 'celebrate' joyously and in some elegance, in spite of the restaurant being busy with many business folks who were there to attend seminars or were in transit thru the nearby Kochin airport.It is Onam period in Kerala, the most important festival of the year, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy so many dishes because of the festival which lasts a week.Dear Guest,Namaskaram from Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport!!!Thank you for sharing your feedback and giving us a perfect review. Visited the Thai Restaurant a week before to celebrate my aunt's birthday and trust me the best choice I have ever made.
