Hoffmeister Haus is a beautiful & delicious Tea-House that serves a wide variety of food.As we were 4, we ordered cakes including the specials with different teas. We paid around ARS 500 per person (USD 12).They definitely deserves the visit.

We just felt like eating something not so typically Argentinean, so chose this venue for the German cuisine. Great menu selection. We both chose the Bratwurst with sauerkraut and it was a generous serve and totally delicious. Service was also very friendly and attentive.

We went to Tio Rico's on a recommendation. It was OK but no atmosphere. It is a buffet where you pay by weight. The place had no character and was almost canteen-style. The food was OK, but given the prices of sit-down-service in other places in town, this was not particularly good value. The buffet did have a reasonable range of hot and cold foods and of reasonable quality.

Delicious food, creative presentation. Reasonable variety. Everything we tried was excellent. Price: mid range. Staff: kind, willing to help. The architecture is very appealing too. Thanks for your kind words.

Excellent food, delicious flavors, best array of grilled vegetables, live-on-table prepared desserts, especially the one where they burn the rum in the apple pie, it's just amazing.Lovely cozy decor, friendly staff, very social owner, what can I say, this place was recommended by my father-in-law and sure enough, it was beyond my expectations. I hope everyone has the same experience as mine. I read some negative reviews but honestly I really doubt this place could do anything wrong.

Had a very good meal here and if I had had a second night in VGB then I would have been back for more.My starter consisted of just two empanadas - one meat and cheese and one cheese/onion - but these were the best of the trip to Argentina. It was also nice to see that one table just had a massive platter of these tasty pastry parcels rather than having a full meal - I really do wish that I had the second night! The main course of rib eye steak was a huge chunk of beef, well cooked and smothered in a rich onion/barbecue sauce. Very tasty.Service was provided by such a friendly chap who spoke excellent English (having been in the UK for eight years) that ensured we knew what we were ordering and also allowed for some interesting conversation too.Overall a really good evening with a two course meal (for two people) including a good bottle of Malbec wine coming in at around ARS $350 so it won't break the bank either!

I had dinner there with my husband. The food was excellent (medium-rare or "jugoso" lomo, pizza, and creme brulee). The service was very attentive and friendly and made a good effort to make us feel well accommodated. The restaurant is very central and has a cosy atmosphere. This place is definitely a good option for dinner.Thank you very much for your kind words! See you soon!

Really good restaurant not in the centre of Villa General Belgrano. The food was excellent, particularly the pasta. We also had Kassler mit Sauerkraut, which was also excellent. The service was really good, at lunch hosted by the owners. We had a really good time eating there and we're definitely coming back and recommend in it.
