We spent 16 days touring all over Slovakia. Our favorite days were the 2 day that we spent with Miroslav. He is an excellent tour guide and taught us all about Slovak history, culture and life style. The first day we went to Lestiny wood church, Oravsky Castle, Tvrdosin wood church and Vilkokinec Unesco town. The second day Miroslav took us to Bojnice Castle and Trencin Castle. Both were absolutely lovely days. We never had a dull moment as Miroslav described each town we past through including politcal history, employment and culture. Miroslav's personal tour was so much more informative than touring alone. I highly recommend his services.

The local tour guide (Marek), is a great tour guide! He brought us closer to Slovak history and local food. We came in touch with locals and talked to them about historical events and their opinions on them. We had a great lunch on top of a hill. He recommended local food to us. Marek presented us with compact and interesting historical legends and politics. If you are looking for a great tour in the region of Zilina, I can only recommend "Caparthia Tours". Very meritorious are his ecotouristic perspectives. He tries to leave a green ecological footprint and is ambitious to sustain nature with eco friendly tourism.
