Dropped in on this little gem hoping to be able to spend some time painting pottery. We had a lovely friendly welcome and although it was quite full and we hadn’t booked they were able to accommodate us. I had my little boy with us who is not yet ready for a high chair but this wasn’t a problem at all! After ‘parking’ the pram downstairs we settled in upstairs and there was a lovely baby swing which we were able to use. A lovely touch and allowed me to have my hands free and for him to enjoy a swing! We had a fab time relaxing whilst painting our chosen pottery and enjoying a cuppa. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this lovely place for a great time with family and friends and especially children. They are so accommodating and go out of their way to help you. However I would suggest booking if you want a specific time or at busy periods.

A family run garden centre and nursery in Shropshire specialising in quality home grown plants, with a brand new cafe and gift shop, offering a relaxed shopping experience with gifts for the garden and home. During the summer we offer PYO strawberries and seasonal fruits and the autumn PYO pumpkins. At Christmas, why not enjoy our Cinema in the Wild Woods, bringing the outdoor woodland indoors.

We have visited Holly Farm garden centre lots of times over the last few yearfs, from stocking up on garden plants, to pumpkin picking at Halloween and choosing our Christmas Tree from the field it is a great place... and they also have a new, larger cafe to fuel up with yummy food. A must visit! ????

Raven Yard Antiques is a family business located in the picturesque Roman town of Whitchurch, Shropshire. A specialist in Georgian glassware, Victorian militaria, jewellery, and fine arts, we have a diverse range of antiques to accommodate everyone. Due to the coronavirus, we are only open on Tuesdays to Saturdays. We are happy to arrange private viewings out of hours.
