Highly recommend this tour if you planning to visit Iceland. Jens, one of the owner of this company is an understanding, responsible, professional and knowledgeable guide. We have joined the aurora and glacier tour in Feb 2020 and it was an unforgettable experience in my life. Just 3 of us in the group, like engaged a private tour. Jens will share the history of Iceland throughout the journey. Sometimes, he might be a bit quiet, but he will be able to answer every question and share the tips with you. Breakfast and dinner were included in the tour and he will stop along the way in town for us to grab the lunch. Breakfast is in buffet style and dinner prepared by the Farmhouse/Guesthouse was really really delicious! The Farm stay and guesthouse were cozy with nice view. The tour is reasonably priced and worth every penny.

This is the less travelled tour by tourists in Iceland. This 90- km long peninsula comprises a world of diversity. Friendly towns and villages, spectacular mountains, a multitude of bird species nesting on treacherous cliffs, beaches of sand and pebbles popular among horsemen and rock skimmers, remnants and relics scattered here and there of times and ways of life long past. Saga sites and hiking trails. The Snaefellsjokull National Park is at the westernmost part of the peninsula, including the mystical glacier Snaefellsjokull, as well as other unique sites such as Djupalonssandur, Thufubjarg and more.

Have you ever heard of Jules Verne and his novel "Journey to the center of the earth"? Well, we'll take you to Snæfellsjökull volcano, also known as the entrance to the core of the planet. The Snæfellsnes Peninsula is often called "Iceland in Miniature". It is the perfect combination of waterfalls, rough lava fields, black sand beaches, and Icelandic folklore. We head west and our first stop is a small town called Borgarnes. After a quick stop to buy some snacks and refreshments we are on our way to the Peninsula. In good weather conditions, we can already see the glacier that sits atop a stratovolcano that is well known from the Novel "Journey to the center of the earth". Book hassle-free with us! We guarantee all our departures without minimum participation.

Inclusions: Pick-up and Drop-off, Wifi

I actually visited back at the end of January 2020 just before the start of the pandemic and with all the drama of Covid, I never actually got round to posting a review. What an incredible tour this was! The waterfalls and landscape were just breathtaking as was the stop off for lunch! Our guide was very helpful and the bus journeys were comfortable. I cannot fault this company, booking was very easy and we were picked up right outside our hotel! I am a massive geography fan so this was a dream come true for me and the black beach is just stunning. The waterfalls are incredible (almost on par with Niagara Falls). I 100% recommend taking this tour to see some of Iceland’s beauty.

This was one of our favourite experiences on our trip. We'd purposefully booked with Asgard for the smaller group size (and we were fortunate that it was only us two in the end) and for the longer time on the ice. It was most definitely the right decision! The waterfall afterwards is a nice little addition too. Our guide, Kiddi, was fantastic. I can't praise him enough. Calm, unflappable and knowledgeable. I always felt safe with him, and he dealt with my nervousness at abseiling with such patience. Encouraging, but without ever forcing me to do something I wasn't comfortable with. Good briefing before trying ice climbing and helpful tips to improve. He had a good knowledge of the glacier too, and the smaller group meant we could get off the beaten track and were often walking in untouched snow. Such breathtaking views!
