This private guided full day tour of The Ring of Kerry will take you along the world famous 179km (112 miles) of scenic coastline and countryside. Departing from your accommodation at 9am (flexible) your private group of up to 6 people will skirt the mountain range of the McGillycuddy Reeks, home to Ireland's highest mountain. One of Ireland’s most iconic views is from Coomakista Pass looking down on Derrynane Harbour, Scariff and Deenish Islands, Kenmare Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The Ring of Kerry (or Iveragh Peninsula) is the Kerry tourist trail and part of the mystical and unspoilt region of Ireland that has attracted visitors for hundreds of years. Its spectacular beauty is beyond question. Located in the southwest region of Ireland and part of the 'Wild Atlantic Way,' the drive out along the peninsula is 112 miles (180 kilometers) drive out into the Atlantic on a peninsula. Taking the drive does not disappoint and remains the most famous coastal drive in Ireland.

My husband and I have traveled to Europe over a dozen times in the last twenty years. We’ve always traveled independently doing our own research and making our own reservations. We’re very comfortable taking public transportation in Europe and have also driven rental cars. A few years ago, we started purchasing small group or private tours for day trips and museum tours. We find them to be a great value for the personalized experience you receive. The key is doing your research ahead of time and finding the right tour company for you. For our trip to Ireland in August 2019, I found several highly-rated companies that offered day trips in southern Ireland. We ended up selecting MunsterBus Tours and had a fantastic experience. We booked with MunsterBus Tours because of their good customer reviews and excellent customer service in planning the trip – specifically my interactions with Linda Conway. Linda and I emailed back and forth to plan our two day trips for 4 adults. She was very responsive and professional (with a nice sense of humor). She took the time to really think about the information I sent her and then responded with detailed information and personalized itinerary options for us to consider. I also emailed Linda while in Ireland for advice with something not related to our day trips and she responded immediately with very helpful suggestions. Great customer service! We were also delighted to find the actual day trips were very enjoyable. Our driver and guide for both days was Craig. He was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and a very good driver. He did a great job balancing informing us, entertaining us (we had fun singing Irish songs) and giving us quiet time. Craig made our time in southern Ireland even more enjoyable. When we return to continue our exploration, we will definitely use MunsterBus Tours!!

My friend and I had Mary's services for three lovely, adventurous days. She was incredibly accommodating, kind, informative, and utterly professional. Also fun! She made special arrangements to get us to meet relatives in a remote village and see a family-relevant sight off the beaten track, as well as complete Dingle Peninsula and Cliffs of Mohrer tours. She expertly navigated EXTREMELY narrow country roads, causing us to mention numerous times how glad we were to not be driving ourselves! Can't recommend her highly enough.

I did the Ring of Kerry with them. It was great because we have seen so many beautiful places although the weather wasn't very suitable, to put it mildly. We had lunch in Waterville, the place which Charlie Chaplin chose for his holidays over 10 years. The sea was rough but you don't expect hot sunny days in Ireland in November. You can just walk along the beach, gazing how waves roll over and remember Dylan Thomas's poem which is so true ... 'Especially when the October wind with frosty fingers punishes my hair... ' the only exception is that it was November. Afterwards, there were some breath-taking scenery, but it's impossible to describe nature. You should go and see. One more thing, the guide is very helpful. Told us a lot about the life in Ireland and the places which we visited. Ireland! I'm missing you so much!

Arrived here for tour for ring of Kerry today and the company seems to have gone out of business. A local shop said they were gone since March but they still took my booking in July. People arrived yesterday who had booked 2 days ago and bus never arrived. A lovely company called Dero’s across the road have fitted us in for tomorrow. Can’t get hold of paddy wagon tours at all. Disgraceful. Please don’t book with this crowd.
