This private guided full day tour of The Ring of Kerry will take you along the world famous 179km (112 miles) of scenic coastline and countryside. Departing from your accommodation at 9am (flexible) your private group of up to 6 people will skirt the mountain range of the McGillycuddy Reeks, home to Ireland's highest mountain. Passing through picturesque towns and villages, it is a natural wonderland of ruined castles, mysterious Iron Age stone forts standing sentinel on lush green hillsides, soft blanket bogs, as well as panoramic views of the Atlantic, where the UNESCO World Heritage site of Skellig Michael soars from the ocean. One of Ireland’s most iconic views is from Coomakista Pass looking down on Derrynane Harbour, Scariff and Deenish Islands, Kenmare Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. On the return journey we drive through the 26,000 acre Killarney National Park, Ireland's oldest park, where glacially sculpted mountains cradle three large lakes.

we did a 3 day tour with Anne and Dave. we explored haunted castles, visited local restaurants, had lovely scones and tea. we went on adventures and had the time of our lives. I would highly recommend Kerryguidedtours they were awesome. so warm and welcoming. Anne even did a little research into my family name for me. if I am ever lucky enough to go back to Ireland (which I hope I am) I will be calling kerryguidedtours for sure.

We were a small group of three with Mary G as our walking tour guide of Killarney. While we all had been in Killarney a few times over the years, this was our first time actually taking a walking tour there. It was well worth it as Mary gives insights into the town’s history and heritage that only a local will know. She was born and schooled in Killarney so she really shares her passion for her home town. As Mary has lived in France and Italy, she is very capable of putting the stories of Killarnye in a European context. So it was really interesting also to hear her stories of what French and Europeans enjoy about Killarney. It’s only when you take a tour with Mary that you see and discover things are only known to locals; interesting insights into medieval laneways, hidden architectural gems and a fabulous walk through the environs of Killarney House and National Park. We enjoyed the glorious gardens, fantastic views over the lakes and even saw deer grazing in nearby paddocks. When you have a few spare hours, a walking tour of Killarney Town with Mary G is highly recommended.

Our tour starts from one of the most beautiful town in Ireland - Kenmare. As private tour, we can customise it. We can visit some places out of bitten tracks like really stunning Kerry Cliffs. Kerry Cliffs are up to 1K feet above a sea level, those cliffs are actually higher then Cliffs of Moher. We can stop whenever we want, also for food in some restaurant serving local people mostly. Ted was nothing but pleasant, accommodating, and kind! He made sure our group of 8 was well taken care of during our private tour. He made sure to ask what we would like to do and gave us options about taking a hike or choosing chocolate; we chose chocolate, LOL! I would absolutely book Ted again; he made the day so easy and made sure I was in the loop with pickup and drop-off.
