We reached Svolvær on a very bad weather , it was raining and cloudy weather in December and I had booked 2 day photography tour with Lofoten Lights. My wife and I were worried on missing out on places in Lofoten as we had only 2 days with us. Next day we got picked up by Eric for our tour,he is a very warm and very friendly guide. He started out our tour by taking to a mirror art installed next to the mountain landscape it was very good, in 2 days he covered all the places which are listed in tour ,he is extremely knowledgeable ,he gave us so many facts,he is an amazing photographer and each and every framing of shots is very good.Even though it was a bad weather he made sure that we waited for getting good light and then he helped us taking many memories in form of photos . We will definitely come back in summer and book a photography tour with Lofoten lights for Eric our guide. He is very professional and an awesome tour guide.

This is a lovingly thought out, well organised and sustainable tour on a beautifully designed and well-equipped hybrid boat to give value without outstaying its welcome. We were admittedly exceptionally lucky with the weather, but as the tour passes through stunning scenery even before entering the spectacular Trollfjord and the crew are friendly and the commentary is engaging and witty, I am sure that a magical experience could be had even on a cloudy day.

What a treat! The weather was rather gloomy and gray - that's why we decided to go for an expedition with a rib boat to see Trollfjorden and sea eagles. Friendly and smiling staff welcomed us and everything we needed to be warm and comfortable - and safe - for the trip was provided. Tord was our "captain" and did a beautiful job handling the larger and larger waves that were teasing us in the heavier and heavier wind. Due to the weather, we didn't see much of the mountains and spectacular surroundings, but it was still an incredibly fun ride and Tord served a bunch of fun stories and information along the way. As promised, we also got to see and feed many beautiful, large sea eagles. At one point there were nine of them soaring over us! Along with plenty of the expert fliers, yet admittedly less spectacular seagulls. Trolldalen was beautiful, even if the skies were gray and the clouds hid some of the mountain peaks' magnificence. Despite really rough waters, Tord brought us back to shore safe and sound. And the best of it all; my husband who gets seasick from just looking at a bath tub, did not feel sick one second of the trip - just as they said at the office when we talked to them about his challenge!

We are visiting the fantastic Trollfjord: The Trollfjord is one of the most visited nature attractions in Lofoten. The fjord is a sidearm the Raftsund east in Lofoten. The fjord is 2 km long, and only 100 meters wide at the most narrow. The steep mountains surrounding the fjord are between 600 and 1100 metres high. The fjord has also played an important part in our fisheries. The battle of the Trollfjord in 1890 is immortalized through Johan Bojer`s novel, «The Last Viking», and one of painter Gunnar Berg`s (1863-1893) main works. The painting of The battle of the Trollfjord can be viewed in Svinøya Rorbuer`s Gunnar Berg Gallery.

Absolutely great experience! The trip was from Svolvær to Henningsvær and back with stunning landscapes and incredibly friendly crew. They also showed us under water drone footage as one of the crew members was driving it. We also got to hear interesting stories and history about Lofoten. There was also a little bit luck on the way as we saw a double rainbow at the sea when we were coming back from Henningsvær :D. Thank you to the crew for making our trip to Lofoten more awesome. Highly recommended!

The trip was very enjoyable, from start to end the guide shared with us some background history about Svolvær, the islands around, fishing industry and his thoughts on efforts to protect the environment. When we arrived to the fishing area, it didn't take us more than 1 minute to catch two fish already! It was amazing. The guide explained us very well about the type of fish and even how to cook it. In the end we all caught good amounts of fish and the guide even filleted the fish for us while explaining us fun facts about the fish insides :) in the end, we were allowed to take all the fish we caught home which was great! A totally worthwhile trip.
