Uva Province (Sinhalese: ඌව පළාත Uva Palata, Tamil: ஊவா மாகாணம் Uva Maakaanam) is Sri Lanka's second least populated province, with 1,259,880 people, created in 1896. It consists of two districts: Badulla and Moneragala. The provincial capital is Badulla. Uva is bordered by Eastern, Southern and Central provinces. Its major tourist attractions are Dunhinda falls, Diyaluma Falls, Rawana Falls, the Yala National Park (lying partly in the Southern and Eastern Provinces) and Gal Oya National Park (lying partly in the Eastern Province). The Gal Oya hills and the Central mountains are the main uplands, while the Mahaweli (Sinhalese: great-sandy) and Menik (Sinhalese: gemstone) rivers and the huge Senanayake Samudraya and Maduru Oya Reservoirs are the major waterways.

Our tour to Wilpattu National Park was well organised. Our driver and tour gide was very professional and friendly - it was a real plasure to meet him. We were lucky to see many wild animals including leopard. Highly recommend to anyone looking to book for a one day tour of Sri Lanka and very reasonably priced.

I just got back from a 8 night trip.to.Sri Lanka and was super.amazed by Mr Thilanka from Holiday Walkers. Of course the tour was good. However what impressed me.most was , --about a week before the tour I thought I need to cancel , I had already paid 100%. Thilanka spoke to the hotel and got me a 100 percent refund !!! . We were so.impressed. However, we then proceeded with the tour as planned and had a magnificent time !

It was the best experience ever! Athula is not only a driver, but also a perfect tour guide! He showed us a looooot of beautiful and also hidden places, he told us about Sri Lankan culture and let us try the REAL Sri Lankan kitchen. He did his best to make our adventure special, despite the difficult times (COVID). We had so much fun together. Athula is a really friendly and good person and an amazing travel companion. I travelled with Dush in Dec 2019. There were two of us, my husband and I. Dush was definitely safe and honest and brought us to the places that we requested and also did some recommendations along the way. We first planned our itinerary and sent him thru whatsapp on +94 773884173 so we could have a plan and discussion. He took us on a 8day 7 nights travel and it was truly fun and enjoyable. He also took us on an additional off the beat path trip to visit his old house and we met his wife and kid. An amazing experience through and through with Dush!

We met the perfect man in Kandy near the lake in the centre and he made our stay at Srí Lanka in an extraordinary experience! He turned out to be a great guide to all the local landmarks. We visited together many beautiful places from which we have a lot of beautiful memories and photos too and learned a lot of different interesting things. They were unforgettable days!

To go to our camp near Haputale Wasante from Haputale Mountain Tours drove us there. Although the "streets" to this place were very small and bumpy we felt totally save with Wasante as driver. The cars are very well maintained.

The track was brilliant to navigate but the toilets were an absolute disaster. Shame that! However,the adventure is worth the money.
