The word ‘Shaka’ literally means "hang loose" or "take it easy." Founded in 2007, by two stoked humans Tushar Pathiyan and Ishita Malaviya, we are one of the first surf schools in India. We started the The Shaka Surf Club to share our stoke of surfing, with all the good folk who cross our wave-filled path. We are passionate about promoting the sport and culture of surfing in India. At The Shaka Surf Club, we provide beginner level surf lessons, surfboard rentals and accommodation at our Surf Camp Namaloha.
