I have a senior membership since it opened and really use it at least 5 times a week except in the summer when I am a beach bum. I love the walking track and also the pool and gym.I must say the pool is my place I go the most as it is great work out and easy on the joints ! It is my happy place! I usually go between 7 and 7.30 a.m. and arrive home by 9 a.m. I have made lots of new friends here and have lots of old friends that go here too so it is a social place for us retired seniors . The walking track is great too in inclement weather as I prefer the fresh air but with the rink below at times there is lot activity there too also the view of the surrounding area is great to take in during your walk .Lots of people young and old meet here too especially the young mothers come with their babies in strollers.Their is also a child minding services available at this facility too for parents that want to exercise or socialize! I have recently made a move to a retired facility closer to this center and maybe they will see me every day .It really has become part of my life I was stopped the other day by my late husbands doctor who inquired why he hadn't seen me lately at the walking track people do take an interest in your well being! The staff at the desk is always pleasant and very helpful even if it is a complaint! I haven't tried the café yet maybe someday soon I will . Thanks for the opportunity for me to tell everyone about the RAth Eastlink center MY HAPPY PLACE! Hope it operates forever! it is a great addition to our town.!
