Tianmu Baseball Stadium

It was fun to see a baseball game in Taipei. The stadium is connected to a wonderful sports park with an all-weather running track, tennis courts, and basketball courts. There are swings and slides for chidren. Sadly, the park section was closed for renovation during my visit though. Beautiful mountain views from the park and it is next to the university.

Kaohsiung Arena

Kaosiung is a city that is well organised for traffic. Its metro was not busy nor its tram when we visited. The highlight was the foyer of the metro's main station with its glass ceiling and piano for anyone to play.
