Arrive at iFLY Manchester and safely float in an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air commonly used by professional skydivers without having to jump from a plane. Just about anyone can fly and no experience is necessary. Once inside the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel the adrenaline rush as you float at wind speeds reaching 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The stable wall-to-wall airflow keeps you from falling off the column of air and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you. The entire indoor skydiving experience takes about 90 minutes from start to finish. Each session includes up to 6 people, but you fly one-on-one with your instructor twice - the same freefall time as three tandem skydives! My Husband and I last year (October 2019) went to the feeding sharks experience, it was a last minute decision to do on our trip. This was an amazing experience that especially with who we were with during this time. His name was Brendan, between his knowledge on the animals and showing us what to do just made the experience even better. After leaving we felt like we learnt a lot in the time period that we were there. We did leave a little wet due to the turtles splashing us but this didn't dampen our experience. If able to do this I would highly recommend doing it. As well as the rest of the aquarium was great as well.

This is a great place, we come back yearly. However, I'm here to leave a review just to point out your marketing tactics when it comes to 'kids go free' promotion is charlatan worthy. Usual price of age 15+ £16.75. Use promo code and price of 'adult' goes to £20. Funny. Still, a discount, but that's a cheeky, non-transparent way of doing an offer. Would expect better from Legoland.

A group of us have been using this service for many, many years now and it is always a good laugh. Leaving from just opposite where the dockyard is you can set your watch it going one hour before kick-off. It is around £14 for a return journey but well worth it. No queueing in traffic or rushing to get away from the ground with this service. There is a bar on board and always fantastic atmosphere. Best to book in advance on their website but the service is fast, efficient and professional.

My son (21) and daughter (28) went on the tour and absolutely loved it.Their tour guide, Roy, was a legend and they sang his praises. He was so informative and told them so much more then they expected. Not only did he have great musical knowledge, but he also added interesting info on Manchester and pointed out things and buildings of note as they went around. The tour included a visit to the Salford Lads Club and museum where they had quite a chat with the guys who ran it. Uber taxis and a complimentary pint were included in the price of the tour which was personalised by including info and stops associated with their favourite bands. Well worth the price and they said they would reccomend it to anyone interested in the Manchester Music scene. Well done Roy! Altough there doesnt seem to be response to the questions aaasked on Tripadvisor dont let this put you off. Once they had booked they were contacted directly to state details which would help create a tour just for them.

Our flight was piloted by Chris. He was very informative and polite and took us over the Isle of White, the beach, Weymouth. The actual experience was AMAZING!! Everywhere we went he told us about it and the experience itself was amazing. I highly recommend this as it is definitely an experience you will never forget, one reason for that is that he handed me the controls and I FLEW THE PLANE! Everything was nice, chilled, very safe and easy. Overall, couldn't have been better ????
