One of the best beaches in Perth . Not far from city centre . Nice restaurants and bars in a line in front of the beach . There is a good sizr children playground in front of the beach and a few mins of walk there is a huge outdoor pool right in front of the beach , in case you rather want to swim there . Over the weekend there are lifeguards on duty at beach . There is a hotel in front of the beach if you wanna stay over night and parking is ok ,

Fabulous location. Be sure to have reef shoes or be prepared to dodge the sharp rocks! Best early in the day before the wind picks up!

Star Swamp Bushland Reserve

Reviewed By fudgerose - Perth, Australia

I hadn't been to Star Swamp for ages and forgot how you can switch off as soon as you get there. Suburbia or city life becomes an instant distant memory. There are several trails, I don't know the length of each but you can decide where and when to exit. I love how it's looked after well but simply feels wild and untouched. It's a big gulp of nature in a short amount of time.

Clarko Reserve

Public park next to North Trigg Beach with grassed area and shady trees, covered picnic tables, gas barbecues.

Reviewed By 619jeffry - Essendon, Australia

James "Jim" Clarko AM (1932-2020) was a local luminary. He served in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 1974 to 1996, including as Speaker of the House. I met Jim Clarko several times, he was a big man who was intelligent and well educated; he could carry on a conversation about almost anything. It is fitting that this park -- his namesake -- will serve the community for many years to come.
